Khenpo, please (take food)! For a monk in the Sangha who does not ask for food, his share of food is given and received by the Khenpo or teacher. Obtaining what has not been obtained is the state of immediate attainment. As stated in the latter part of the sutra, if there is no Khenpo or teacher, or according to the height of the seat, in a queue where it is inconvenient to ask for food, whichever monk is sitting in front or behind should give and receive the food. For many people, how much can be received without leaving the seat? If a Bhikkhuni comes to distribute food from in front of or behind my seat, or if a share of food has not been distributed, then there is no need to stand up, and the share of food that can be taken should be accepted. If I cannot hold the food I receive in my hand, there is no fault even if I do not accept it. If the rolling food can be taken by oneself without leaving the seat, then accepting it does not violate the rules. If someone distributes food and the food comes into my hand, or rolls over from the top of the container, I do not need to leave my seat, as long as my hand can reach it, I can pick it up and eat it, and this does not violate the rules. If one stands up and picks it up and eats it, there is a fault. It is the same even if ants and insects touch the food. If my food has already been given and received, even if ants touch it, it will not destroy the giving and receiving. Even if the monk does not put down the food, it is the same if others touch it. If my food has been given and received, and I am holding it in my hand, even if others touch it, it will not destroy the giving and receiving. Mice will destroy the giving and receiving. For food that has already been given and received, if I am not holding it, as long as a creature the size of a mouse or larger touches it, the giving and receiving is destroyed. If it is eaten, there is a fault. Giving again after giving is unreasonable. For food that has already been given and received, if one stands up, or is touched by others, or doubts whether it has been given and received, it is permissible to give it again. Eating after giving and receiving is also considered an act of giving and receiving. End. (If) one knowingly eats food that has not been given and received, one will commit a sin of transgression, because one has not received any part of it. If food is eaten without being given and received, one will commit a sin of transgression, except for water and toothpicks, which are edible. Except for water and toothpicks, any food, such as the five kinds of food and the five kinds of beverages, will cause a sin of transgression if eaten, because any part of it is eaten. Applying it to the body and dripping it into the nose does not count, only eating it will cause a sin of transgression.

That is, one branch, not the bad reputation of the north. Pao. The food of the bad reputation of the north is the same as one's own, so there is no need to repay the favor, because it is not the food of the bad reputation of the north that causes one to fall, that is, one branch. If one possesses these branches, one will fall. If a sick person begs without being completely healed, then one can enjoy it. If a sick person does not ask for something to be given, but begs for food like a householder or an ascetic, then eating it will not be a fault. If one is not completely healed. As stated in the Sutra Pitaka, there is no fault in householders and ascetics begging because there are no monks, and even if they take it and eat it, there is no fault. Even if one is not completely healed, one can beg. Begging for food for a sick person, if there are no monks, an ascetic can also forcefully beg, there is no fault. Eating without receiving the giving. The downfall of eating without receiving the giving is complete. Now explaining the good downfall. Milk, yogurt, fresh butter, fish, meat, dried meat, these are the essence of food. Milk and yogurt and fresh butter, as well as fish and other aquatic creatures, all edible things, these are the best essence and food among all foods, so it is said. To do from that. As stated in the Sutra Pitaka, any of those good foods are acceptable. Falling from begging, that is, one branch, not a relative, and a householder donor. If the donor is not a relative, then one falls from the householder, that is, one branch, if one takes it and eats it oneself. Taking it and eating it oneself causes one to fall, that is, one branch, requesting and putting it in, that is a misdeed. Taking it and eating it oneself from the good food causes one to fall. Letting someone else go begging and running away is a misdeed. When begging, both are equally misdeeds. Not. Taking for the sake of good food, unless it is not for illness, otherwise taking it causes one to fall, that is, one branch, if one does not invite as one pleases. If the donor says, "Whatever you want, always take it from me." That is also acceptable. The person begging for food says, "What do you want?" That is also acceptable, specifying from the good food and saying, "I want this." One will not fall, or saying, "Take whatever you want?" If one takes without asking what one wants, then one will fall, if one possesses these branches, then one will fall. Therefore, when obtaining it, also like that.
