Even if it needs to be placed, it should be placed just so that the patient doesn't touch the food. "དངོ་ནའོ།" of the boat. Even if food is put in the boat and travels, it is a transgression if it touches the place where "དངོར་འཛིན་" is located, according to Vijaya Varma. Like barley and patients, it is placed in "དངོར་" for the sake of drying after being grown in the boat. The mat is also "ངོ༌།" for the sake of holding. Even among patients, one should stay without touching the place where "དངོར་འཛིན་" is located, according to Vijaya Varma. Even if food, monks, patients, etc. enter the boat, the place of "དངོར་འཛིན་" and the place for spreading ashes should be avoided. The work of the Sangha, as well as pouring, cooking, scooping medicine, and all the work of spoons, and also taking out, is also "ངོ༌།". When the Sangha's food and medicine are being cooked, if there are no householders or ascetics, etc., it is not a fault to touch the fertilizer with the monk's spoon and ashes to stir it, and to take it out and scoop it. If a monk is cooking food and medicine and fertilizer etc. happens, that is also okay. Cutting wood, extinguishing fire, fanning with the edge of a cloth, etc., should also be done carefully at first. When cooking food and medicine, first cut wood, take out firewood, extinguish fire, fan with the edge of a cloth, cover with water, etc. in the fertilizer, and use these methods of collecting and pacifying. If you can't, do it like the back of the Sutra. If the ritual cannot be completed regularly, it is also "ངོ༌།" for the sake of being rescued from the water and for the sake of carrying and arriving. When crossing the river and entering the boat, if there is no one to carry the food to the boat, if the boat is tilted and close to the shore, but cannot reach, it is not a fault for me to carry the food into the boat, according to Vijaya Varma. If a monk entrusts food to a porter and wants to cross the river, but the water is too high and the porter cannot handle it, it is not a fault for me to carry the food if the porter and the food are connected with a rope. If it is not possible to connect with a rope, it is not a fault for me to carry it even while crossing the river. When crossing the river, if the porter goes ahead and the food is behind, if the body is behind, it is not a fault to carry it for the sake of the porter's arrival. If there is no one else, taking it is also food. Like the back of the Sutra, the food that I carry myself cannot be entrusted to servants or householders, and if there is no other food, it is not a fault for me to carry and do it myself. If there is no porter, trust the patron. Carrying food while walking on the road.

If there is no burden of carrying, then traveling together on the road, I also have no burden of carrying, and if food is not allowed to be touched, then what do you allow me to carry? If it doesn't work out, I will carry it. Even requesting as it is said later was not allowed, the purpose of my going is to hear the Tripitaka, if I cannot go, then it is not a sin for me to take my own rations. Give that and exchange it, and strive to obtain it. Because the food that one carries cannot be eaten, one can gradually exchange food with other guests to eat. If that doesn't work out, then eat that. As it is said later in the Sutra, if gradual exchange does not work out, then eat the rations that one carries. If there is no act of giving and receiving, then does not giving and receiving belong to others or to oneself? As it is said later in the Sutra, when eating one's own rations, if there is no one to give and receive, then think that there is no owner of unpleasant sounds, and then one can eat, which will be explained below. After fasting. As it is said later in the Sutra, things that can be eaten, if there is no one to exchange food and give and receive, then one should not eat rations for one day. The first day is the tiger's paw. After that day, if there is no one to exchange food and give and receive, it is the tiger's paw, that is, how much I can hold with my hands clasped together is how much I eat. Two days, then eat two portions. Therefore, if one cannot find someone to exchange food and give and receive during the day, then eat two portions of the tiger's paw. For three days, it is arbitrary. After three days, one can arbitrarily eat until full. For fruits that are not in season, one can also eat those that have not been inspected and have been taken without giving and receiving. If my food is finished or there is none, or the benefactor has not given it, and I have not learned, then fruits that have not been inspected, etc., and those that have not been given and received can be eaten. It is also okay to eat in the afternoon. Because there is no food. As it is said later in the Sutra, things that can be eaten, if there is no food and one is poor, one can eat. When one is hungry and cannot bear it. As it is said later in the Sutra, eating because one is poor, if one is not hungry and can bear it, one cannot eat, if one is hungry and cannot bear it, one can eat. Roots can also be eaten. If one is hungry and cannot bear it, then roots such as Ophiopogon japonicus that do not need to be dug up can also be eaten. I myself picked and cooked them. As it is said later in the Sutra, if one cannot find roots that do not need to be dug up and fruits that have already been picked, then it is also permissible to pick fruits and dig up roots to eat.
