If food is eaten, it is a transgression. Similarly, if yogurt made from goat, sheep, and cow's milk is drunk inside the boundary, it also becomes a transgression. If a vessel is placed in a certain direction, it is cooked in that place. Regarding the extent of what is included and not included within the boundary of a monastery, if something like an iron pot or a small pot is erected, with two legs stuck outside the boundary and one leg stuck inside the boundary, it is considered cooked inside the boundary. However, it does not become cooked food. If food is outside the boundary and a person is not inside the boundary, stirring and cooking with a spoon or ladle is not considered cooking within the boundary. Firewood is also not a container. If firewood is taken from inside the boundary to burn, and the fire is outside the boundary, but the flame blown by the wind enters the boundary and burns, it is also considered burning inside the boundary. Whether it is taken out or not, it is not like that. If a spark from inside the boundary rolls outside and burns, or if a flame blown by the wind extends outside the boundary and burns, it is not considered burning. Just like the place, the boundary is also the same. Outside the outer wall of the monastery, up to the extent of placing stones, if cooked together, it is considered cooked within the same boundary. As for what extent the boundary of placing stones does not count, it will be explained below. One fathom (approximately two meters). From the outer wall of the monastery to the extent of one fathom is included within the boundary. Extending upwards to the sky is also the same. If cooking in the sky inside the boundary, even if there is no obstruction in between, it is considered cooking inside the boundary. The inside is also the same. On the roof of a tall building, if cooking in the sky inside, even if one person is left out, no matter how much enters in between, it is considered cooking. The upper floors are also the same. Even if the house is a multi-story structure, whether cooking on the top floor or cooking on the lower floor, it is considered cooking within the same boundary. What is not given by others is not the place of others. In the place of a monk, if it is controlled by another powerful person, and the monk is placed in a small room, while that patron lives elsewhere, if the patron lives there and cooks, or if a layperson cooks, it is not considered cooking within the same boundary. Until death, the cow is being carried, cooked inside, and the monk

That which I have cooked, do not let it remain on its skin, time! Food, if a bhikshu takes it and cooks it within the boundary, and what a bhikshu has prepared, saying it is not allowed to eat, regarding this, lifelong vows and seven-day medicine, if blessed with mantras, taking and cooking etc. can be used and eaten, there is no fault. Cooking, if it is cooked for the sake of illness, there is no fault, otherwise what a bhikshu cooks and what is cooked within a boundary, it is not allowed. Contamination is half of the food. If one eats with food stuck on the begging bowl, basin, and hands etc., one commits a fault. The smell of the mouth and what is eaten and drunk are also faults. If the smell of the mouth and the remnants of food remain in the gaps of the teeth, and one eats and drinks food without cleaning it, one commits a fault, because it will turn sour after the time has passed. The outside of this should be wiped with cow dung or soil, and rinsed with water. In order to make the mouth clean, the outside of the mouth should be smeared with cow dung or soil, and rinsed and washed clean with water. Inside, rinse the mouth two or three times with water. Inside the mouth, in the morning and after eating breakfast, chew a tooth stick and wash it clean with water three times. Even if you drink a beverage in the afternoon, wash it clean with water three times. The begging bowl should be respectfully washed two or three times, even if there is no sound, it is okay. Washing the begging bowl before eating food, even if it has already been washed clean that day, it should be washed three times with cow dung or the juice of crushed grass or fine soil like tsampa to make it clean, and the sound of squeaking or collision is the standard of cleanliness. After repeating the washing three times, even if there is no sound, it is considered acceptable. What is faultless is the remainder. Like the Sutra school, after repeating the washing three times, there is no fault even if oil and grease etc. remain from the food. Touching what is not contaminated is also okay. If one touches a cloth for wiping the mouth and utensils etc. that have food stuck on them and have not been washed, one commits a fault. Using alkali, cow dung, or soil, whichever it may be, washing it three times, there is no fault even with oil. Clothes, utensils, and begging bowls etc. should be washed clean three times with alkali, cow dung, soil etc., if it is not clean and oily, there is no fault. The remainder is clear. After washing the begging bowl clean three times, the food is hot
