If something happens suddenly, all the monks should collect the cushions and place them in the appropriate place. If you feel too heavy to move it yourself, it should be carried together with the older and younger ones. According to the Sutra, when collecting cushions, if the elders cannot bear the heavy large cushions, the younger ones' light cushions should be given to the elders, and the elders' heavy cushions should be carried by the younger ones. Place similar items together. Do not mix mattresses and the like, and separate the small beds and cushions. Give mattresses and clothes to other temples. If other temples hold offering ceremonies or many monks gather, so that there are not enough mattresses, then mattresses should be given. But this must be when there is no fear of rain or wind. If you are worried that the donated items will get wet in the rain or be blown away by the wind, do not donate them, because they will get wet and are not suitable. If you encounter wind or rain on the way, they should be piled under a tree or against a wall. Whether transporting or taking mattresses, if it rains on the road, they should be placed under a tree or against a wall. Cover with a worn-out piece of clothing. According to the Sutra, on top of the piled clothes, cover with a worn-out piece of clothing. Take it to the temple and dry the clothes. The mattress that got wet on the road should be dried after arriving at the temple. If it is burned or taken away, it should be taken out of the Sangha. If a fire or flood occurs in the Sangha's mattresses and other items, everyone should take them out and protect them. Because taking out my own bowl and robes has been completed. If there is my own bowl and robes in the Sangha's mattress when a flood or fire occurs, I should take out my own first. Because the Sangha is rich, and individuals are poor and have nothing. After taking it out, let an incapable monk guard it. After taking out the items from the water and fire, an elderly or weak monk should be arranged to guard them to prevent them from being lost. If you cannot bear it, do not enter. If you cannot take out the items from the water and fire, and your life is in danger, do not enter it. This is about the downfall of mattresses. The downfall of beds and cushions ends here. Next, explain the laying. If you lay things in the village, it should be done for the householders and discarded. In the village of householders, lay grass or leaves to live.
