如果比丘使用卧具，没有收起铺垫就去乞食，如果遇到下雨或刮风等情况，如果没有看到是哪位比丘去了，就应该收起来，不收起来就犯了轻罪。进入者也要认真地来。如经文后部所说，比丘去乞食时，如果看到要刮风下雨，为了收起卧具应该尽快回来。如果没能尽快回来，在之前的堕罪和轻罪之上，又会增加轻罪。因此，不要犯错，也不要减少。乞食者没有收起卧具就去乞食，说是为了乞食而去，这样没有罪过。如果不是减少堕罪的支分，就会犯堕罪。如果忘记了，多次过去或离开后才想起，就要发誓以后不再这样做，并且口中念诵。比丘使用或铺开卧具后，没有收起或忘记了，独自离开，走了很长的路才想起，就要心中想念并口中念诵，这样忘记是错误的。以后也要发誓不再这样做。如果没有这样发誓，在之前的堕罪之上，还会增加轻罪。如果路不长就返回去收起。如果遇到其他比丘，就请求他帮忙收起。如经文后部所说，比丘没有收起卧具就独自离开，走了很长的路才想起，或者遇到其他比丘，就应该请求说：“我祈请您，请您到我没有收起的卧具那里，帮我收起来。”接受请求后就应该去。如经文后部所说，接受请求的比丘如果答应了，就应该立刻去收起。如果没有立刻去收起，并且具备了支分，那么答应的比丘就会犯堕罪。如果没有发现可疑之处就离开住所，就应该收起卧具。如果没有遇到野人或强盗等恐惧的因缘，就离开住所，无论是僧众的卧具还是自己使用的卧具，无论是铺在干燥的地方还是潮湿的地方，都应该收起来并抖干净再走。没有抖干净就走，就犯了轻罪。这不是指没有遮盖的地方，而是指住在寺庙里。如果沾染了灰尘，就应该抖掉。比

If a monk uses bedding and goes for alms without picking up the bedding, if it rains or wind blows, and he doesn't see which monk has gone, he should pick it up; if he doesn't pick it up, he commits a minor offense. Those who enter should also come diligently. As the latter part of the sutra says, if a monk goes for alms and sees that wind and rain are coming, he should return quickly to pick up the bedding. If he doesn't return quickly, he will incur another minor offense on top of the previous downfall and minor offense. Therefore, do not make mistakes and do not reduce. If an alms-seeker goes for alms without picking up the bedding, saying that he went for alms, there is no fault. If it is not reducing the limbs of downfall, it will become a downfall. If he forgets and passes or leaves many times, and then remembers, he should vow not to do this again in the future and recite it in his mouth. If a monk uses or spreads out bedding and does not pick it up or forgets it, and leaves alone, and remembers it after walking a long way, he should think in his mind and also say in his mouth that forgetting like this is wrong. He should also vow not to do this again in the future. If he does not make such a vow, he will incur a minor offense on top of the previous downfall. If the road is not long, he should return and pick it up. If he meets another monk on the road, he should ask him to pick it up. As the latter part of the sutra says, if a monk leaves alone without picking up the bedding and remembers it after walking a long way, or meets another monk, he should request, "I request you, please go to the bedding that I have not picked up and help me pick it up." He should go there after accepting the request. As the latter part of the sutra says, if the monk who accepted the request agrees, he should pick it up immediately. If he does not pick it up immediately and possesses the limbs, the monk who agreed will commit a downfall. If he does not find any suspicious place and leaves the residence, he should pick up the bedding. If there is no cause for fear of savages or thieves, etc., and he leaves the residence, whether it is the bedding of the Sangha or the bedding he uses himself, whether it is spread on a dry place or a wet place, he should pick it up, shake it clean, and leave. If he leaves without shaking it clean, he commits a minor offense. This does not refer to a place without cover, but to living in a temple. If it is covered with dust, it should be shaken off. Monk

如果僧房的卧具上积了灰尘等，无论是管理者还是使用者，都要掸打干净。交给他们。如经中所说，像这样清扫过的卧具，如果卧具管理者要换新的，旧的要丢弃，就交给他们处理。也可以委托给比丘们。无论是旧的卧具管理者，还是使用卧具的比丘，如果要去其他地方，而且卧具管理者没有依据，那么比丘们也可以委托给沙弥。如经中所说，如果长时间离开，又没有比丘，也可以委托给沙弥保管或供养，没有罪过。或者交给居士们。如果自己和同伴都不能及时赶回，需要长时间离开，又没有沙弥，也可以委托给值得信赖的居士或近事男保管，没有罪过。如果什么人都没有，就四处看看，藏好钥匙，然后离开。无论是卧具管理者还是比丘，如果自己要搬到别处去，而且没有同行的人，就把卧具和物品全部收拾好，锁上门，把钥匙藏在比丘们容易找到的地方，然后看看比丘们会不会来，四处看看就走。如果在路上遇到比丘，就告诉他们钥匙藏在那个方向。如经中所说，如果藏好钥匙离开后，在路上遇到比丘们，就告诉他们钥匙藏在某个地方，让他们去找来使用。如果被邀请到居士家做客，但门是锁着的，就把卧具藏在墙上或树上，然后进去。如果有个乞食的比丘，把僧团的床偷偷地拿去僻静的地方使用，早上想把床送回去，但僧团的人都出去做客了，门都锁着，就把床藏在别人看不到的墙上或树下，自己也跟在其他僧团的后面去赴宴。在那里给床位。如果其他寺院的僧团为了做法事而需要床位，就给他们。如经中所说，如果没赶上僧团，把床藏起来，后来来的比丘，就对他说，让先来的僧团让出位置，给床位。

If dust or other impurities accumulate on the bedding in the monastery, whether it is the manager or the user, they should shake it off and clean it. Entrust it to them. As stated in the Sutra, if the bedding has been cleaned in this way, and the bedding manager wants to replace it with a new one, and the old one is to be discarded, then entrust it to them for disposal. It can also be entrusted to the monks. Whether it is the old bedding manager or the monk who uses the bedding, if they are going to another place and the bedding manager has no basis, then the monks can also entrust it to a novice monk. As stated in the Sutra, if leaving for a long time and there is no monk, it can also be entrusted to a novice monk for safekeeping or offering, without any fault. Or entrust it to the laypeople. If oneself and companions cannot return in time and need to leave for a long time, and there is no novice monk, it can also be entrusted to a trustworthy layperson or male devotee for safekeeping, without any fault. If there is no one at all, look around in all directions, hide the key, and then leave. As stated in the Sutra, if after hiding the key and leaving, you meet monks on the road, tell them that the key is hidden in a certain place, and let them find it and use it. If invited to a layperson's house as a guest, but the door is locked, hide the bedding on the wall or in a tree, and then go inside. If a mendicant monk secretly takes the Sangha's bed to a secluded place for use, and in the morning wants to return the bed, but all the Sangha members have gone out as guests and the door is locked, then hide the bed on the wall or under a tree where others cannot see it, and follow behind the other Sangha members to attend the feast. Give a seat there. If a Sangha from another monastery needs a seat for performing rituals, give it to them. As stated in the Sutra, if one does not catch up with the Sangha, hides the bed, and a monk comes later, tell him to ask the earlier Sangha to make room and give a seat.
