Becoming an intermediate state is one branch. The complete pacification of the Sangha. If two monks are fighting, and the Sangha has pacified the dispute, but one monk says that this is the reason for another monk to fight again, and allows them to fight, whichever of the one hundred and one cases it may be, the Sangha has taken action to pacify the dispute, but it becomes worse, these are two branches. The monks are talking. If two monks are arguing for the sake of the Dharma, I have spoken, and this becomes three branches. If scolded. Just like the back of the Root Sutra, the Sangha has pacified the dispute, but the one who pacified the dispute says that this is the reason for the fight, and scolds the actions of the Sangha, if these four branches are present, one commits a downfall. Because it has been arranged, when the Sangha is conducting affairs, I know about this matter, and the affairs have been completed, I am doing the affairs of requesting and applying, I know about this matter, and giving faith is fundamental. Whatever I have done, as long as I have the giving of faith and these calculations, it will become a downfall. The transgression committed is in the future, and for the affairs that the Sangha has completed, if a monk comes later and says that this affair was not done well, that is a transgression. Saying the view is also the same. If a monk is sitting in the assembly, and for the affairs that the Sangha has completed, he speaks in an inappropriate language or vulgar words, that is also a transgression. Similarly, if he realizes that he is talking, then talking is also the same. If two monks are fighting, and later the Sangha has pacified the dispute, but the talk of pacifying the dispute does not stop, but because of another talk, it leads to a fight, and from an inducement that leads to a fight, talk is provoked, and they are allowed to fight, this is also a downfall. Whichever of the one hundred and one affairs the Sangha has completed, whether it is the fourth or has been sentenced, whether it is scolding the matter itself, or scolding other things and distorting it, it is a downfall. If one says that something that has become a result of karma is not, then it is half a transgression. If the Sangha allows a monk who has become a remnant to be sentenced, after about ten days, a monk says, for the one who is being sentenced, the sentencing affair that you have done is not right, allowing others to do it, when he scolds, that is a transgression. All one hundred and one affairs are similar to this. Scolding. The downfall of scolding, that is, the Sutra that appears from within the Vinaya Vibhanga. For the downfall of teaching the Dharma to women, it is being taught, that is, teaching the Dharma. Ba

Explaining the Dharma to someone who is not a fully ordained monk will result in a downfall, this is the first branch. It is also the same if it exceeds six words. If explaining exceeds six doors, it will result in a downfall, this is the second branch. It is also the same if one knows it particularly. If one knows that one has spoken more than five or six words, it will result in a downfall, possessing these three conditions will result in a downfall. These five are all composed of five words. When explaining the five aggregates, if composing it into six, it will be a minor offense. If speaking six, it will be a downfall. When saying "the six doors are impermanent", if composing it into seven words, it will be a minor offense, if speaking seven words, it will be a downfall. What the wise do not do is answering all questions, and like the back of a sutra, when explaining the aggregates and sense bases, if a wise woman asks "to which branch of skillful means does this belong", if therefore explaining the branches in detail, there is no fault. When offering offerings and women's offerings, if promising offerings and the words of giving exceed six words, there is no fault. Answering all questions, and previously having explained the Dharma, but the woman has forgotten, if asking again, if explaining by saying more than six words, there is also no fault. Giving the precepts of a lay follower, and taking refuge in the Three Jewels and establishing precepts, even if saying more than six words, there is no fault. Answering all questions and the attachment of giving. When the donor's monks receive food offerings, even if saying verses exceeding six words, there is no fault. Leaving the original place is not the same as before. When explaining the Dharma to nuns, if only saying four or five words, and then changing places to explain, there is no fault. If speaking exceeding the number of words, changing places to speak will result in a downfall. This is about explaining. This is the downfall of explaining, it comes from the sutra that appears in the Vinaya-vibhanga. The downfall of reading is about explaining. For those who are not completely perfect, or the same as the perfect, or those who are about to attain perfection, what is said is Dharma or letters. Two monks speaking with hoarse throats is an exception, such as a novice or a householder, in any of these situations, as long as reciting more than one verse, speaking with a hoarse throat, it will result in a downfall. Unless it is caused unwillingly. In requesting teachings and so on, if after a monk has spoken, a novice or a householder is eloquent and speaks quickly, covering the words spoken by the monk, speaking with a hoarse throat, but not intending to speak together, there is no fault.
