If divided, it is a misdeed, said Bi Ja Ya Varma. When disposing of the property of the deceased, if the elders and junior elders are not given any property, and then it is divided, it is a misdeed, said Bi Xiuda. Obtaining one, two, or three from the Sangha, and then taking it away. In a monastery, if a patron offers property to the Sangha, and there are two or three bhikkhus in that monastery, if the Sangha is not complete, then those properties belong to those people, and if those properties are divided without prior dedication, it is a misdeed. Another situation is that there are about twenty Sanghas, and others have gone out to do errands. After that, the patron makes a general offering, and only two or three people are there. If it is divided, it is a misdeed. This will not become a reason for downfall, because the patron's mind has already abandoned it, and the bhikkhu companions do not know about it either. Apart from this, shares cannot be divided either. According to the Vinaya Tail, the Sangha makes a general offering, and the Sangha has gone out, so the shares belong to them, said Bi Ja Ya Varma. If the property of the deceased is not blessed with mantras, it belongs to the Sangha of the ten directions. If it is blessed with mantras, it belongs to the Sangha of one area, and the bhikkhus of one area cannot divide the shares either, said Bi Xiuda. If with a stealing mind, it is like stealing. According to the Vinaya Tail, when offering property to the Sangha and distributing it to individuals, it is because of the fear that the Sangha companions will come. If divided with a stealing mind, it will fall due to the value. If distributed with a stealing mind, and other bhikkhus do not know that the property has arrived, it is a gross offense. As long as enemies or oppressors do not threaten life, or the identity of Bi Xiu is not lost, do not abandon the monastery. Do not let the monastery be uninhabited. Because the king or barbarians harass slightly. If the monastery is abandoned and left, it is a misdeed. For those who have desires, entrust them with offerings. In a monastery, many Sanghas live on the offerings of patrons. If the patron is expelled or goes far away, and the Sangha has no source of livelihood, entrust the utensils of the monastery to one or two faithful people to keep. In the future, they can live for ten years. According to the Vinaya Tail, the bhikkhu who guards the monastery can live for ten years if the patron does not come. Previously, it was begging. According to the Vinaya Tail, for ten years, stay in the monastery.

If that monk has no means of livelihood, then he should beg for alms for five years. If no patron appears at that time, he should live together with the community of another monastery. Having lived for five years, if the patron does not come and the living expenses are not sufficient, the community nearest to the monastery should share the property in common, and he should obtain his livelihood from there for five years. For one gain, different offerings and almsgiving should be performed. If a monk who has resided for ten years shares his livelihood in common with the monastery of another sangha for five years, the livelihood should be shared in common with the sangha. Offerings and almsgiving should be performed in his own monastery, sustaining life with cloth and sustaining life with Dharma, and sustaining life with Dharma means performing almsgiving. If you want to give away, put the items in the community of the monastery. As stated in the Vinaya, if a monk has resided for ten years and the patron does not come and he leaves alone, all the statues and utensils should be counted and given to the sangha near the monastery. As stated in the Vinaya, if the monastery is abandoned and the sangha reassembles, all the stored utensils should be given back to the sangha so that the sangha's utensils are complete. Do not give the property of sacred places to non-sacred places. If the cause of a monastery, whether it is land or property, is dedicated to the cause of that monastery, it should not be dedicated to the cause of another monastery, as stated by Bijayabarma. If the property of an empty monastery is stored in a nearby monastery, when the monks reassemble, the things that were previously stored should be given back, and should not be transferred or not given, as stated by Bishuta. If those things are not found, let them give. If the patron and the sangha reassemble and the utensils of the monastery are stored, if they are not moved back, the monk who was initially appointed should ask for them and offer them again. Do not go against the wishes of the patron. The causes offered by the patron to each monastery are only for family members to give gifts to each other or to use them in a mixed manner. If transferred, it is a misdemeanor. If not given, it should be taken by force. If property is stored in another monastery, as stated in the Vinaya, if it is not given after being demanded, there is no fault even if it is robbed by force. If found, give it. If in the monastery, things like mattresses or utensils are used in reliance on each other, there is no fault in giving them. The situation where there is no fault is the offering dedicated to stupas and other sacred objects that has not been completed. My own umbrella or banner
