It is accomplished by proclaiming what has been heard. If one starts reciting the Pratimoksha Sutra with words, then the remaining part of the category that has been started must be completed. That is to say, if one extracts a little from the category of defeat with words, the remainder should not be accomplished by proclaiming what has been heard, and the same applies to the category of Sanghavasesa and the category of Aniyata. It is reprehensible to extract half and leave half like this. Regarding "If you touch the fourth, recite it all," the so-called "fourth" does not depend on the order of the five modes of reciting the Pratimoksha Sutra, namely, reciting the Nidana, reciting the Parajika, reciting the Sanghavasesa, reciting the Aniyata, and reciting the whole. Nor does it depend on the order of the five categories of offenses, namely, the category of Parajika, the category of Sanghavasesa, the category of offenses, the category of Patidesaniya, and the category of Siksa. Rather, it depends on the order of the six categories that appear in the Pratimoksha, namely, the category of Parajika, the category of Sanghavasesa, the category of Aniyata, the category of offenses, the category of Patidesaniya, and the category of Siksa. Therefore, the "fourth" mentioned here refers to the category of offenses, namely, the categories of Nissaggiya Pacittiya and Pacittiya. Among them, "touching" means starting to recite the beginning of the Nissaggiya Pacittiya with words. "Recite it all" means that if you touch the fourth in this way, from then on until the end, you must recite it all with words without interruption, which is a concluding word. Like this, starting from touching the fourth, here the category of Patidesaniya and so on also

Fifth, called complete confession, means either accomplishing through proclaiming what has been heard, and completely not initiating confession through verbal expression. If initiated, it cannot be interrupted, but must be confessed through expression until completion. Among these, "to individually examine what has passed for half a month" means: For this Uposatha, one should individually examine what faults I have committed in half a month. When should one examine? It is said, "In the place where they gather for that purpose," that is, the place where monks gather to recite the Pratimoksha Sutra, before gathering, at the time of preparing to gather. If after examining, should one only abide in the unconfessed downfalls? Therefore it is said, "Knowing, one should confess and abide in everything," that is, definitely knowing the downfall, or knowing with a doubtful attitude, one should confess through both confession and blessing, not only in the place of Uposatha, but also in all places of Karma such as prohibition, one should abide with such a ritual. When abiding, if one remembers or has doubts, one should bless the present monk, meaning: If that monk, when abiding in the place of reciting the Pratimoksha Sutra, if he remembers the matter of downfall, or has doubts about it, he should bless the present monk, doing it from the front, not from the back. The mantra is: "Venerable one, please listen, today is the fifteenth Uposatha of the Sangha, my monk named so-and-so's Uposatha is also the fifteenth, I, the monk named so-and-so, remember such and such a downfall in the Sangha, I confess this downfall before the Venerable one, today I perform Uposatha, tomorrow morning I will repeat it according to the Dharma." And "Venerable one, please listen, today is the fifteenth Uposatha of the Sangha, my monk named so-and-so's Uposatha is also the fifteenth, I, the monk named so-and-so, have doubts about such and such a downfall in the Sangha, I confess this downfall before the Venerable one, today I perform Uposatha, tomorrow

Tomorrow morning, ask the Bhikshus who uphold the Sutras, the Bhikshus who uphold the Vinaya, and the Bhikshus who uphold the Matrikas, eliminate doubts and hesitations, and then restore the fallen sins according to the Dharma, that is its meaning. What is meant by "the practitioner with the mind" is that when dwelling, if one remembers the fallen sins or has doubts in mind, then one should bless them. If the practitioner remembers the place of the fallen sins, or has doubts about it, then he should bless it with his own mind at that time. The mantra for this is: Today is the fifteenth day of the Sangha's Uposatha, and my Bhikshu practitioner named so-and-so's Uposatha is also the fifteenth day, I Bhikshu practitioner named so-and-so, in the Sangha, remember such-and-such fallen sins, I Bhikshu practitioner named so-and-so, bless that fallen sin with my own mind, and today perform the Uposatha. Tomorrow morning, remove that fallen sin according to the Dharma. Today is the fifteenth day of the Sangha's Uposatha, and my Bhikshu practitioner named so-and-so's Uposatha is also the fifteenth day, I Bhikshu practitioner named so-and-so, in the Sangha, if there is doubt about such-and-such fallen sins, I Bhikshu practitioner named so-and-so, bless that fallen sin with my own mind, and then perform the Uposatha. Tomorrow morning, ask the Bhikshus who uphold the Sutras, the Bhikshus who uphold the Vinaya, and the Bhikshus who uphold the Matrikas, eliminate doubts and hesitations, and then remove the fallen sins according to the Dharma, that is what is said. In this and the previous occasions of blessing, if the time is too long, it is not beautiful, so reciting the mantra once is enough, there is no need to recite it three times. If on the fifteenth day one knows that one alone does not possess (a certain condition), then one should honestly tell one's companion, that is to say, if a Bhikshu knows on the Uposatha day that he alone does not possess the ease of falling into sin, and all other Sanghas possess the same fallen sins, then at this time he should not give up, but should honestly tell and strive with a companion who understands the situation. How should one strive? Therefore, what will happen to the one who lives long and acts in this way?
