It is also permissible to accept etc., this is the concluding remark. Chapter forty-six. The so-called "grasping with words that can be expressed" means that there is no complete limitation in number for accepting the wishes etc. belonging to the lineage of many monks. Like this, as much as can be expressed, that much should be grasped with words. It is said like this, the one who accepts the wishes etc., for as many names etc. of the monks who offer the wishes etc. as can be spoken, that many wishes etc. should be accepted. The so-called "if not, then it can be accomplished by any offering" means that if the monk who offers the wishes etc. cannot go or speak due to severe illness etc., then the offering of those wishes etc. can be accomplished by offering any expression of body and speech other than the mantras mentioned above. The so-called "it can also be done with the body" means that it can also be accomplished by making bodily gestures etc. The tone of "also" indicates, what need is there to mention others, what is there to say. The so-called "if it cannot be done in any way, then either go to the Sangha there, or lift it from the bed" means that if the one who offers the wishes etc. cannot do it with the body, then either go to the place where the sick person is in the Sangha. Or lift the sick person from the bed to the center of the Sangha. The so-called "after lifting it, do not run" means that the one who accepts the wishes etc., after accepting the wishes etc., should not run and walk until it is spoken in the Sangha. The so-called "do not be fast" etc., all the following should also be connected by adding "after accepting the wish until before offering". The so-called "fast" means a speed that is slightly slower than running. The so-called "do not jump", jumping is called jumping. The so-called "do not jump outwards", the so-called "outwards" refers to the wall or earthen embankment outside the temple, do not jump there. The so-called "do not on the steps" refers to the steps, that is, the steps of the outer corridor. The so-called "do not sit in the air" refers to the air.

Do not dwell or walk in it. The so-called "do not be outside" means do not walk outside the boundary. The so-called "do not place another rung of the ladder and then jump to another rung" means do not stagger the rungs of the ladder and then jump to another rung. The so-called "do not be on the steps of the ladder" means do not stagger and then jump to another rung. The so-called "do not wade when the water is over your ankles" means if there is another way to go. If not, there is no fault. The so-called "do not sleep and enter into samadhi" means do not sleep and enter into samadhi. The so-called "because that is an unconscious state, it should be condemned for that reason" means that both sleeping and entering into samadhi are unconscious states, so they should be condemned for that reason. The word "also" indicates that these two should be condemned not only because they lead to downfall, but also because of the unconscious state. In order to completely stop all initiated actions. The so-called "unconscious state" refers to doubting, being uncertain, distrusting, and disrespecting the Dharma, thereby hindering the achievement of the goal. The so-called "should be told to the bhikkhu" means that the person who accepts the intention, etc., after accepting the intention, etc., enters the Sangha and should tell the bhikkhu. So in what situation should it be said? After the elder of the Sangha declares the intention and complete purity, etc. The text here says that he should declare to the bhikkhu sitting next to him, "Venerable one, declare the intention and complete purity to the bhikkhunis who have not arrived." It is said in the sutra that the words spoken should also be known. Some say "to the Sangha." Some views hold that it should also be declared to the Sangha. The so-called "begin with 'Venerable ones, please listen'" means that if it should be declared to the Sangha, then the bhikkhu who accepts the intention, etc., should be in the Sangha, the venerable ones of the Sangha.
