If one is not free to go beforehand, then if one sees other bhikshunis, one should say, "This key is in so-and-so's hand, or it is over there." One should indicate it in this way. From the basis of the sojong, the chapter on the sojong of the peaceful place has been explained. Now, the chapter on the conforming sojong from the basis of the sojong will be discussed. Among these, first, in order to indicate the place of the conforming sojong, it is said, "One should conform to the place of the sojong." The place where the sojong is manifested is called the place of the sojong. The Sangha should conform to that place as the place of the sojong through a request and two karmas. If one asks, how should one conform to the place of the sojong? Therefore, it is said, "In all places accomplished, done, or completed." The place where all is accomplished, all is done, or all is completed, that place is all places accomplished, done, or completed. One should conform to that which is the completely accomplished sojong place of all kinds. Among these, accomplished means naturally accomplished at the time of the formation of the kalpa, or naturally formed afterwards due to submersion, etc., such as a bird's nest on a mountain, etc., because it does not depend on the giving of others. Done means manifestly accomplished through the action of a person. Completed means suitable as a place for action, etc. It is said, "The outer perimeter has a cubit." That which has a perimeter of about a cubit on the outside is called the outer perimeter having a cubit. If one asks, should one conform even unwillingly? It is not so, therefore it is said, "If the Sangha wishes." If the Sangha wishes. Because the place of the sojong is mentioned, in order to dispel the doubt that other karmas such as breaking vows should not be performed there, it is said, "The place of other karmas is also the same." Of breaking vows, etc. Because it has been established on the basis of the sojong, it is said thus. It is said, "One should delineate the boundary." One should delineate the boundary of the four directions of that place through a request and two karmas. Up to the edge of three and a half kroshas.

That is to say, within the limit of three and a half yojanas (Sanskrit: योजना, Roman: yojana, literal Chinese meaning: yoking) in four directions, boundaries should be delineated, which is the definition. In each direction, the monks who know the rocks, walls, pillars, trees, fences, bird nests, avenues, wells, etc., should examine them and state the stable signs in front of the Sangha, and then act. That is to say, in the four directions, the monks who know the rocks and walls, etc., those who live or are native to that place, etc., should examine them and state the stable and long-lasting signs of the rocks, etc., in front of the Sangha, and then act for the purpose of delineating the boundaries below them. If permission is given there, then one will not be separated from the robes, etc., which means that if permission is given not to be separated from the robes, etc., within that boundary, then only by not being separated from the robes, etc., will one not be separated. Merely delineating the boundary will not lead to separation, which is not the case, and that is the definition. That should be done, which means that the permission not to be separated from the robes, etc., should be done. For the sake of all, one should be in harmony with the mandala (Sanskrit: मण्डल, Roman: maṇḍala, literal Chinese meaning: altar), which means that after the great boundary has been delineated, for the sake of all things, that is, not only for the sake of observing the uposatha (Sanskrit: उपोसथ, Roman: uposatha, literal Chinese meaning: fasting), but for the sake of all things that are in accordance with the Vinaya, small boundaries should be delineated and one should be in harmony with the mandala. If the previous one has not been relaxed, then other delineations will not be established, which means that the great boundary delineated in the four directions previously, if it has not been relaxed and has not been released, then the delineation of other small boundaries in that direction, and the act of being in harmony with the mandala, will not be established. Therefore, before being in harmony with the boundary of the mandala, if the desire to be in harmony with the mandala arises later, then the previous boundary should be released at that time. In order to show that the previous boundary is not impossible to release, it is said that "the boundaries, etc., should be released." If the monks who have become members of the Sangha want to delineate small boundaries and be in harmony with the mandala, then the boundaries, etc., that they have delineated previously should be released. It is feasible to delineate and release two boundaries with one word, which means that in one mandala, one
