Taking from impure things, silk cotton mixed with cow hair and grass, and cushions made mostly of black sheep's wool, and clothes not sewn with rope, and mixed cushions are also to be blamed, because these things are of little value, so they should be blamed, but not just because they are unsuitable. Entrusting weaving and manufacturing textiles, and storing items obtained through extortion and borrowing for more than ten days, and seeking unsuitable summer large cloths too early, and storing them beyond the time limit, and leaving without tidying up the residence, and beds and couches, unsuitable bed legs exceeding one cubit, and making precious beds or couches, and storing unsuitable food, and giving unsuitable food and drinks to naked men and naked women are also to be blamed, which is not only detrimental to the giver, but also to the receiver. Wearing unsuitable clothes, and small clothes without turning them over, are also to be blamed. Similarly, holding unsuitable bowls and small bowls for more than ten days or one day, and seeking extra bowls are also to be blamed. Making needles and knives made of jewels, etc., and hiding unsuitable utensils, and making bed legs exceeding the size made of gems, corals, and jewels, and covering beds and couches made of unsuitable materials such as jewels with wood cotton, and making cushions, etc. with unsuitable materials such as Aga wood cotton and bird down are also to be blamed. Now, let's briefly show examples of the two branches, that is, holding unsuitable clothes and clothes that are too small for more than ten days, and taking from householders and householders' wives, and begging for a bowl and entrusting the washing of a piece of clothing are also to be blamed. Extorting for the sake of others, and storing borrowed items for more than ten days, and cutting the summer large cloth into small pieces and using it as a wipe and towel, and taking one from both are also to be blamed. What is called one's own interest being paramount means that in any transgression, one's own interest takes the dominant position.

For existing things, only acting to completely create faults for one's own benefit, and not acting to completely create faults for the benefit of others. If it is not for one's own benefit, but acting for the benefit of others, then that is an actor who falls into the lower category. Here, let's give an example, speaking obscene words for the benefit of others, as well as flattery and praise, are all gross offenses. For the benefit of others, having a non-relative bhikkhuni wash clothes, etc., are all misdeeds. Here, causing others to act for the benefit of the Sangha is also solely for the benefit of others. Causing others to act for the benefit of both oneself and others is also solely for the benefit of others, because there are others besides oneself who are pursuing benefits. Therefore, speaking obscene words for the benefit of the Sangha and for the benefit of both oneself and others, as well as flattery and praise, should also be known as gross offenses. If a donor donates clothes for the sake of one or more other monks, and the bowls and Dharma robes, etc., that are offered for them, if another monk persuades the donor for the benefit of those monks for whom the donor donated and offered, even if those monks obtain those items, then the other monk who persuaded them at that time commits a misdeed. Causing others to act for the benefit of monks, bhikkhunis, novices, novice nuns, and siksamana, as well as other Brahmins, etc., and those who have previously committed offenses, etc., is also the same. Making cushions with silk and pure black wool or more than two parts for the benefit of one or more other monks also constitutes a misdeed. Seeking extra bowls and having others weave for the benefit of others, as well as increasing weaving and having others mend torn clothes, and making clothes with kapok, etc., are all misdeeds. Taking food from a bhikkhuni for the benefit of others, and not preventing the distribution of food three times according to rank, also constitutes a misdeed. The so-called "expression is understanding meaning" refers to the fact that understanding the meaning of others becomes the main factor through the expression of language in speaking and begging, etc.
