If a monk goes from here to a place of non-Buddhist deities, he should stand before them, make them hear the sound of cymbals, and recite the verses spoken by the sages to benefit them. Do not engage in manufacturing, do not teach others to manufacture, and do not keep the tools of manufacturing nearby, except for knife sheaths, needles, and rags. That is to say, a monk should not manufacture himself, nor should he teach others to manufacture, nor should he keep containers of manufacturing tools nearby. Except for knife sheaths, etc., as well as needles and rags. Here the scripture is: A monk should not keep such tools nearby. If he was a doctor before, he can use a knife container. If he was a scribe before, he can use a rag. If he was a craftsman who became a monk, he can use a needle, it is said. For a solitary person, one should help them recover their health with the intention of doing good, but not for reward. That is to say, for solitary people who behave like Brahma. Do not leave after giving a laxative. That is to say, after giving a laxative to someone, one should stay there, that is its meaning. If such a situation occurs, one should take harmful countermeasures such as excessive laxatives. That is to say, if such a situation occurs where one has to leave without eating, one should tell the patient and the caregiver about harmful countermeasures such as excessive laxatives or no laxatives, as well as other medical methods, before leaving. Here the scripture is, therefore, a monk should not give a laxative for reward. Do not leave after giving a laxative. If such a situation occurs, one should instruct them before leaving, it is said. Those of the same sex who behave like Brahma should do the work of hairdressing in a secluded place. That is to say, renunciants of the same sex who behave like Brahma, that is, a monk to a monk, a nun to a nun, should do the work of hairdressing in a secluded place, such as shaving hair and nails. Repairing broken parts of a bed is also the same, it is also done in a secluded place. Here, mentioning a bed also includes other beds, etc.

Pe (also known as Bay) is also acceptable. Stringing the rosary beads in order is also acceptable, and this should be done in a secluded place. Offering to the Three Jewels and drawing pictures that are not images of sentient beings is also acceptable, and this should also be done in a secluded place. Saying "not images of sentient beings" refers to things like flower petals and sprouts. Therefore, asking is the same, meaning: in order to learn the images of sentient and non-sentient beings; composing and drawing is like drawing skillfully, in order to learn the images of sentient beings; there is fault in composing for drawing, but there is no fault for images of non-sentient beings. The occasion of following after death and placement has been explained. Now, what should be done at the time of death and placement should be stated: the dead body of one who behaves like Brahma should be worshiped, meaning: covering with scented water, bathing, anointing, flowers, and clothes, raising umbrellas and banners, making sounds of conch shells, gongs, drums, and other instruments, burning incense, and offering by scattering flower petals and so on. It should be burned, meaning that corpse. Here, the scripture says that the body should be worshiped and then burned. If it is not eaten by demons, is it only to be burned? Therefore, it is said: if it is alive and without wounds. It should be determined by separate examination, meaning whether there are living beings on it or not. Digging or throwing into the river, meaning: either putting it into the dug earth, or putting it into the river. If it is not possible, it should be placed in the middle of a dense forest, meaning: if there are living beings in a hundred, burning would cause many living beings to die. With what conduct should it be placed? Therefore, it is said that the right side should be laid down and the head should be turned towards the front. A bundle of grass should be placed under the pillow, meaning under that corpse. It should be covered with grass or leaves, also on top of that corpse. Dharma should be listened to and merits should be explained, meaning for that reason. The wise should bathe with clothes,
