It should be used in combination. Therefore, first, after eating the food, take the stick and drive away crows, sparrows, pigeons, etc. from those who are eating the food. This is done by the attendant of the Sangha. Crows and others reside in the Sangha, so he often drives them away, so he is called the attendant of the Sangha. Arranging lodging and cleaning lodging means happily arranging these two things, and appointing them through solicitation and two karmas. Lodging refers to beds, small beds, cushions with inner padding, bedding, cushions, and lodging, etc. Cleaning lodging refers to the absence of beds, small beds, cushions with inner padding, bedding, cushions, and lodging, etc., such as under trees and grasslands, which are not fixed lodgings. The mantra for appointing these two is: You, named so-and-so, are you willing to arrange lodging for the Sangha? Willing. Please listen to the venerable Sangha. This bhikkhu, named so-and-so, if he is willing to arrange lodging for the Sangha, if the time is right for the Sangha and it is permissible, please allow the Sangha. This bhikkhu of the Sangha, named so-and-so, will be appointed to arrange lodging for the Sangha, this bhikkhu, named so-and-so, arranges lodging for the Sangha. This is what is said in the solicitation, etc. If it contains edible things, in order to prevent other people from entering, one can happily arrange for someone to guard the small window, and appoint them through solicitation and two karmas. Here, the small window should be understood as the door. The reason here is that when the bhikkhus were eating food in a row, someone came, and the Blessed One said: A guard for the small window should be appointed. When mixing meat, Brahmins and householders reviled, and the Blessed One said: When there is something edible, a guard for the small window should be appointed. This mantra for appointment should also be combined and used as appropriate, like the mantra for appointing food as described earlier. Lodging

The so-called "basis of," has been explained in the section on the basis of the Vinaya. Now, in order to summarize the sections on the basis of dwelling places, details, etc., it is said that in the place of prostration in the darkness, the words with prostration should be spoken. That is, in the place of prostration in the darkness, a monk should not prostrate, but should speak the words with the sound of "prostration." For those who have become dangerous, when others begin to prostrate, one should not not prostrate, that is, for those who are worthy of prostration, who have come to a dangerous place, and when others begin to prostrate, even if I have already prostrated, I should prostrate again. The so-called Brahma's prostration is the very act that has been done, that is, one should do Brahma's prostration. The so-called Brahma's prostration is the general prostration to all the Sangha gathered in one place, and if that prostration is done, it is the very act of doing that prostration. Regarding the saying that one should not prostrate to those with inner malice, here, the term "those with inner malice" should be understood as those who harbor malice and intend to harm, not all disputes. Therefore, one should not prostrate to those who harbor malice and intend to harm, but it is permissible for other disputes. Here, the rule is to prostrate to two types of people: those who arrive suddenly and those who originally reside here, and they should prostrate to each other according to seniority. Excluding those with inner malice and those who are moving. This is what is said. To those who prostrate, one should not say "Arogya," that is, to those who prostrate, one should only say "Arogya." The saying that those who should be prostrated to in the past should not be not prostrated to, means that in the past, that person was worthy of prostration. Even if it is no longer appropriate to prostrate now, since it is possible to manifest that past state and prostrate, therefore, it is not that one should not prostrate. This is because an elderly monk, due to anger, broke his vows and became a snake, and another monk manifested his past lineage and said, "One should prostrate," this is the origin of the story. Since it applies universally to everyone, it is summarized here in general. The saying that one should not prostrate to the defiled means that one should not prostrate to the defiled person. The defiled person

English

The meaning of "do not prostrate" is that a defiled person should not prostrate to others. The meaning of "do not possess it" is that a defiled person should not possess that prostration. The meaning of "do not do from defilement" is that one should not possess that prostration from other defilements. Here, the scripture says that the Bhagavan said that one should visit the sick, and the elder monks and younger monks who visit the sick. From there, those who are younger monks would prostrate to that insider, and those who are elder monks would have that sick person prostrate to them, and thus they became annoyed. Therefore, the Bhagavan taught: Do not prostrate to the defiled! Do not let the defiled prostrate! Do not let the defiled possess the prostration! Do not possess the prostration from defilement! Is it prostrating to the defiled? Is it the defiled prostrating? Is it the defiled possessing the prostration? Is it possessing the prostration from defilement? If so, it would become a serious offense. There are two kinds of defilement: Even including eating twigs, and even including discarding unclean things, etc., is unclean. The meaning of "defilement by eating" is that it is defilement caused by even including eating twigs, etc. The meaning of "defilement by uncleanness" is that it is defilement caused by even including discarding unclean things, etc. Here, being naked and wearing only one garment are similar to defilement, the meaning of "for this" is for the matter of prostration. Therefore, do not prostrate to the naked! Do not let the naked prostrate! Do not let the naked possess the prostration! Do not possess the prostration from the naked! Similarly, do not prostrate to the person wearing only one garment! Do not let the person wearing only one garment prostrate! Do not let the person wearing only one garment possess the prostration! Do not possess the prostration from the person wearing only one garment! There are two kinds of prostration: prostrating with the five limbs, and prostrating by embracing the shivering person. Whichever of the two is done, it is still prostration. One should not say "Soso" to a person who sneezes, except for elders and householders. The meaning of "do not say 'Soso' to a person who sneezes" is that one should not say "Soso" to a person who sneezes. Except for elders and householders, it is permissible to say "Soso" to them. For a young monk, one should say "Arogya". The meaning of "for a young monk, one should say 'Arogya'" is that for a young monk who sneezes, the elder should say "Arogya".
