That which is called "things that should not be made manifest" refers to: appearances due to madness, vows of non-obeisance, vows of silence, vows of non-consumption, and vows of monasteries, which should not be made manifest. Here, in the scriptures, what are the ten actions that should not be made manifest to the mothers? They are: overturning the bowl, allowing the overturning of the bowl, the precepts of learning, allowing the relaxation of the precepts of learning, the precepts of a novice monk, permission for madness, the vow of non-obeisance, the vow of silence, the vow of non-consumption, and the vow of the monastery. Why are these five vows, from overturning the bowl to the vows of a novice monk, not summarized here? Because they are objects for those who have not taken full ordination, there is no fear of them becoming manifest. These ten actions should not be openly performed, but should be kept within the scope of observation. Only what is to be accomplished should be proclaimed after understanding. The vow of overturning the bowl is like that established by the great Licchavis. The permission to allow the overturning of the bowl is like allowing the bowl to be taken back from the same person. The precepts of learning are like those established by the general Simha. Allowing the relaxation of the precepts of learning is like dissolving the precepts for the same person. The precepts of a novice monk are the vow not to accept a expelled novice monk. These are to be carefully guarded by oneself, and are not to be blamed on others, so they are things that should not be made manifest. Permission for madness is like that established by the monk Byema Kye. The vow of non-obeisance is the vow that nuns should not pay homage to monks who have been expelled from the monastery. The vow of silence, the vow of non-consumption, and the vow of the monastery refer to not speaking to those who established the five vows from the vow of overturning the bowl to the vow of the novice monk, not consuming their possessions, and not entering their monastery.

Including the precepts of not going. For those who have received full ordination, these actions should not be made manifest. All other actions should be made manifest. Do not speak for that purpose without having made a request, which means that before making a request for the basis on which that action is to be done, do not speak the action. The previously stated "those who are not in harmony should not do" is to show the nature of disharmony. Belonging to that boundary, suitable for supplementation, not following the assembly with body or intention towards it, and also the one who turns away, also for whomever that action is done, if it is in accordance with the Dharma of disharmony, then the conduct does not degenerate, and abiding in its own nature, and not being manifest by properly restraining speech, except for those with illness, is disharmony, thus it is said. Disharmony itself is of two kinds: not following the assembly, and the one who turns away. In order to show that "not following the assembly itself," it is said, "belonging to that boundary," which means the monk who belongs to the boundary where that action is done. What kind of monk is special? Therefore, it is said, "suitable for supplementation," which means that it is suitable for supplementing the Sangha, but not those who are unsuitable, such as those who have not received full ordination and those who have degenerated, etc. Such a monk is one who does not follow the assembly. In what way does he not follow the assembly? Therefore, it is said, "body or assembly," which means that the body does not follow the assembly, or the intention towards that action does not follow, that is, by not following the assembly itself, it is disharmony itself, which means that in the assembly of the Sangha, by not following the assembly itself, it is disharmony itself. The so-called "one who turns away" is to show that the one who turns away is also. That is also connected with disharmony itself. The word "also" indicates that the one who turns away is also, if it belongs only to that boundary, it is disharmony itself, but if it does not belong to that boundary, then there turn
