If it has been blessed until the prescribed time, then there will be no fault of hoarding during that time. Here, the scripture says that the monk Pretsalwa performed the giving and receiving, and after the blessing, can it be fully enjoyed? Close ones can use it. The meaning of Pretsalwa is to indicate that it can be given to the sick. For the sake of the sick to fully enjoy, one should bless until the end of the term, meaning that the ones suitable for one-time use, seven days, and sustaining life, should be blessed until their respective terms. The ones suitable for the time do not need to be blessed, because blessing them is meaningless. The mantras for them are: Venerable one, please listen. I, the monk, named so-and-so, want to bless these medicines suitable for one-time use, so that I and Brahma can enjoy them equally. Recite three times, this is the method. Say "Good." The ones for seven days and sustaining life are also the same. When should one bless? Therefore, it is said, at the time of the early meal. Meaning, before lunch, all the times for eating are the times for the early meal, which is the basis of the ritual, so one should bless at that time. How to do it? Therefore, it is said, having done the giving and receiving. Meaning, having done the giving and receiving, then bless. One should avoid not doing the giving and receiving, and mixing with hoarded things. Meaning, when blessing, without doing the giving and receiving, one cannot bless, and being contaminated by dirt and so on, and mixing with hoarded things, one cannot bless either, so one should avoid these two situations. Therefore, it is said, wash both hands. Meaning, because one should avoid not doing the giving and receiving, and mixing with hoarded things, one should wash both hands, do the giving and receiving, and then bless. In this way, there will be no fault of not doing the giving and receiving, and mixing with hoarded things. Picking up the hand-held, hoarded, and blessed
