That which is called: Among those drinks that are suitable to drink at the proper time, other than drinks such as coarse tea, if they are mixed with substances such as Nepali apples and Madulunga, it is like that, even if the food of substances such as Nepali apples and Madulunga pervades there, there is no fault. The word "etc." should also be understood to include roots, stems, leaves, flowers, and fruits, whatever can be used as food. It is said like this: If drinks other than drinks such as coarse tea are mixed with Nepali apples and Madulunga, it is like that, even if the food of substances such as Nepali apples and Madulunga pervades there, there is no fault. Here, the scripture says that the monks ate brown sugar, and they felt thirsty, and the Blessed One instructed: Brown sugar should be made into water and drunk. If it is suitable at that time, then it is the end of the time limit, that is called: If the material of the drink, such as grape juice, etc., is suitable at that time, then whatever is the limit of the part of the night time limit, that limit of the drink is also the limit of drinking it, it should be understood like this. If it is something else, then what is it, that is called: If the material of the drink is not suitable at that time, but is suitable to drink at an unsuitable time, then whatever is the time limit for eating that material, the limit of seven days or a lifetime, that is also the limit of drinking it, and it does not contradict the time limit. Because if the material that can be held for seven days or a lifetime can be eaten beyond the time limit, because there is no fault at any time, so it will never become inedible, therefore, the drink made from materials that are not suitable to drink at the proper time, because it is a drink, it should be known that it can be drunk at any time, and because of the blessing, it should be known that it is suitable to drink at the proper time. Now, in order to refute other views, wanting to explain other views, so it is said that some people say, if there is no change, it is like that, if there is a change, to what extent is it like that, it is said like this. Here, some of the Vinaya holders say, regarding this change

The so-called "ུར་པ་" refers to: characterized by appearing like a beverage, it is extremely easy, and completely different from not being intoxicating, it is called a synonym for being intoxicating. Therefore, it was previously said in the sutras, "If it is something else, then what is it?" What is the boundary of the substance of the beverage, that is also the boundary of the beverage, what is shown is not definitely and uniquely existent, it should be known. Like this, if the essence has not changed, then that is the boundary of the beverage; the moment of change, until which moment, that moment of the essence changing, it should be known that is the boundary of the beverage. They say so. That is not correct, because if one relies on the remaining time, it will become incomplete, and because that is not what ordinary people would experience, the blessing itself will not become real. The saying "If it has changed, then it is until which moment" is not correct, because if one relies on the remaining time, it will become incomplete. Because from the moment it becomes a beverage, if one relies too much on the blessing of time, then the blessing will become incomplete. Like this, the blessing is temporarily for consumption, so if it can be consumed, then that is correct. Therefore, when the state of being consumable completely disappears, will the blessing not change either? Therefore, the remaining time after a certain moment, other than the moment of becoming the essence of a beverage, is not allowed to be blessed. Therefore, here, it will only change within that period of time. If someone thinks that the blessing is dependent on the period of time in which it becomes the essence of a beverage, then this error will not occur, then, precisely because of this, it is said "that is not what ordinary people would experience." Because the future thing that is going to happen is not what ordinary people can experience, and it will not become an objective object, therefore, at the time of blessing, the time of change is completely unknown, so completely for the sake of blessing...
