The two months between the first month and February are the season of late winter. The two months from the first month of spring to the small month of spring are the season of spring. The two months from the small month of spring to the middle month of summer are the season of early summer. The two months from the middle month of summer to the first month of autumn are the season of summer. The two months from the first month of autumn to the small month of autumn are the season of autumn. Each of these six seasons has two months, which is four and a half months. The first two and a half months and the last half month are counted as fifteen days. In the third half month, one day is missing each day, and it is not enough for fifteen days, so it is counted as fourteen days. It should be known that these are the fourteenth-day Uposatha. In this way, the meaning of the words appears here: the first month and the small month of the three months of summer and the three months of winter, because the lower half of the month is less than fifteen days, the empty days of the first month and the small month are the fourteenth-day Uposatha. The middle month of the three months of autumn and the three months of spring, because the lower half of the month is less than fifteen days, the empty days of the middle month are the fourteenth-day Uposatha. All the rest are the fifteenth-day Uposatha. Abandoning the intercalary month is because of following the king, which means that abandoning the extra intercalary month is because of following the king, it should be abandoned, and it should be consistent with the king, this is the final conclusion. The constellations should be understood by following the astrologer, which means that the constellations should be understood by following the astrologer, and should be consistent with him, this is the final conclusion. The necessity here is to be proficient in terminology, which means that in order to state the Dharma numbers, etc., the necessity here is to be proficient in worldly terminology, to keep the past days in mind, and to fully understand the days of Uposatha. Do not, without investigation, and without waiting for the Uposatha day, think that this is empty, and make a boundary, which means that monks who arrive suddenly enter an empty place, they will think, has a boundary been made here? Or has it not been made? Do not, without such investigation, and without waiting for the day of Uposatha, think that this place is empty.

Do not rashly think and draw boundaries, but observe and do it when the day of the Uposatha arrives, that is its summary. Knowing that the defined boundary is the definition itself is not a part of non-establishment, meaning that knowing that the defined boundary is the definition itself is not a part of the non-establishment of defining other boundaries. If the boundary has already been defined, then whether you know it is defined or not, defining other boundaries there will not be established. Here it is taught that: without relaxing the previous one, defining other boundaries will not be established. What is taught there, knowing it is not a part, like this, if there is a defined boundary, then whether you know it or not, it is only that defining other boundaries will not be established. If you knowingly define it, you will commit a misdeed, if you define it unknowingly, there is no downfall, the difference here is only that much. Without it itself, it will also become relaxed, meaning that previously in the case of a common Uposatha place, what was said that those boundaries should be dissolved, that is dependent on the action, and here also the word "also" is said, not only is the dissolution of the boundary dependent on the action, like this, it shows that without it itself, it will also be naturally dissolved. That "it" refers to the monks and nuns who are dwelling in the boundary, if those boundaries are of those people, if those people are all gone and not in that boundary, then those people are gone, and that boundary is also like the people without boundaries, naturally it is gone, that is its summary. Here also it should be known that the time of dawn is the time when that boundary becomes wide. There are five reasons why it becomes non-existent: the entire Sangha leaves, all change their names, become non-fields, become confused, and death. If the people of the mandala are outside the boundary, then because of the absence of it itself, will it become a fault that it becomes relaxed at any time? Answer: there is no such fault, because the people of the mandala are the place of action related to the place, therefore that place has no autonomy, therefore, that place is gone
