Or completely possessed by the lineage of humans, or completely possessed by the lineage of non-humans, even if one is free from the perception of this, it is only a minor offense. Just as in other cases one falls due to the mind of stealing, here, one falls due to the perception of separation. For something not completely possessed, if one thinks it is completely possessed, or if one thinks it is not completely possessed, there is no falling, because there is no thought of separation. If one separates with the mind of causing harm, and it is said to be a major offense, then how would it be if one separates with another mind? Therefore, it is said that with a compassionate mind, it is a minor offense. For letting go of what is held, etc., which is contrary to the benefit of others, if one does it with a compassionate mind, even if one thinks it is completely possessed by others, it is still a minor offense. If it is said that the actual action that leads to defeat is a major offense, if one has not done the action that leads to defeat at all, if one returns in the middle, in order to avoid the doubt that it will not become a major offense. If one has done it before, even if one corrects it later, it is not that one has not done it, it is said because, in that house, there are many women and few men, if one has done the final action caused by seduction, etc., before. Like this, even if one has taken countermeasures to send back the thieves later, it is still considered so. Whatever the first action of the thief is, that first action is not that one has not done it, but one has done it, it will only become a major offense, this is the conclusion. For the action, it is said to be a major offense, for the action of the action, it is said to be a minor offense. Now, in order to show the difference in the objects of these two, it is said that before stealing is the action of the action. For the object to be stolen, whatever the stealing is, before that, getting up from one's seat, grabbing the skirt, etc., that action is the action of the action. The action of the major offense is the action of the action. Its object is itself. The order is like this: distinguish the action by the distinction of thought. Distinguish the falling by the distinction of action, thus it is completed. Here, the text is as long as one does not steal

As long as it is not concealed, it becomes a minor offense. If one steals, searches, and as long as one does not hide the stolen goods from one place to another, it becomes a major offense. Here, even for many stolen goods, as long as the intention to steal has not been abandoned, it is only one major offense. If the intention to give up arises, and then one steals again later, it becomes another major offense. If it is said that all actions constitute minor offenses, then, just as actions such as getting up from a seat are considered only one minor offense, is it the same in all cases? Therefore, (the scripture) says: Each step taken is different. That is, if a monk is walking on the road and wants to steal an item possessed by another by reducing his steps, and gradually retreats backward, then it should be known that each step reduced is a different action. The scripture explains it this way: Lifting a foot from a place in order to go unseen, the action of lifting the foot itself is the action. The previous lifting of the foot is different from other actions. Therefore, lifting a foot in order to go unseen, each previous lifting of the foot becomes a minor offense. Here, the scripture says this: When the Khenpo and Acharya are walking on the road, they live together, and they hand over their robes to the attendants, and at this time, if the thought of stealing arises in their minds, and they walk by reducing their steps, walking stealthily, then as long as they are still in sight, it constitutes a major offense. If they are not in sight, it can be said to be theft, and the value should be calculated, and so on. In order to dispel the doubt that the offenses are the same because the actions are the same, (the scripture) says: Its basis is each sentient being. That is, they are different. Its basis is, refers to the basis of sentient beings. When stealing, attacking with weapons, harming, slandering, etc., are done on the basis of sentient beings, for each sentient being,
