It is like this, other than the two feet, one should not scrub the body with anything else, that is its definition. This refers to the two examples of sharp objects and scrapers. The so-called "this refers to" means a fragment of brick. The so-called "example" should be understood as a close symbol. With what? With sharp objects and scrapers. The so-called "sharp object" refers to knives and so on. The so-called "scraper" refers to sea foam and so on, these are two examples. Here, the scripture says that the Blessed One taught not to scrub the body with fragments of brick. Monks were scrubbing with fish skin, and the Blessed One taught that one should use non-rough fish skin. If one scrubs the body with non-rough fish skin, how should it be treated? Therefore, it is said that the fish skin should be heated with fire, and it should be understood that the heating of the fish skin is only a slight warming with fire. Monks can scrub in some ways, and in order to show that nuns cannot scrub in any way, it is said that nuns should not scrub anywhere with fists or rolled-up clothes or anything else. Nuns should not scrub, the so-called "anywhere" refers to the parts of the body. The so-called "anything" refers to objects, even if it is with fists or rolled-up clothes, one should not scrub, let alone other things like fish skin. In order to completely avoid the fault of wetting clothes while bathing, it is said that one should not wear Dharma robes without leaving the moist water. After bathing, many residual water droplets will remain on the body, and those water droplets will wet the Dharma robes, those are called moist water. Which monk has not left the moist water, that is, has not left the moist water, he should not wear Dharma robes until the water droplets on his body have dried. Because one does not want to stay for that period of time, it is said that one should carry a body-wiping cloth, that is, a body-wiping cloth.
