Because I am of a non-noble caste, this is done for the sake of convenience. The saying, "In the house to which one is invited, if one is not urged to check the time by the shadow of the sun, it is permissible to leave," means that it is permissible to go to the house to which one is invited. If someone promises to prepare food in a certain house, that house is the house to which one is invited, and it is permissible to go there. Who is it? It is the one who is not urged to check the time by the shadow of the sun. If the patron does not say to the monk, "Now that the time for the shadow of the sun has arrived, please depart," that is the one who is not urged to check the time by the shadow of the sun, and it is permissible to go there. When is it? It is when there is no urging, that is, when there is no urging to check the time by the shadow of the sun. Here, the scripture says, "I cannot urge you to check the time by the shadow of the sun, but come when you know the time yourself." If you exceed the time, you are also told to hurry. The saying, "If you go to the house to which you are invited and exceed the time for checking the shadow of the sun, the monk himself can urge the patron, 'Now, please prepare the shadow of the sun!'" This is permissible. The saying, "Do not respect what is not that very word," means that apart from the words of the Blessed One, such as the prayer and the four actions, do not cling to and respect the words that are spoken in the context of worldly conventions, but rather understand the meaning, and in any suitable place and time, translate them into words that can be understood, and there is no fault in speaking them. Similarly, here the scripture says, "Please use the cushions as you wish! O fortunate one, as you wish!" If someone says, "I do not know, these cushions are prepared especially for you." The Blessed One said, "If that is said, say that you have used them as you wish." This is what the Blessed One said. Because this is to be applied to all conventions, it is generally brief. The saying, "Invitees separately should be taken care of by oneself," means that invitees separately should be taken care of by oneself. If there is an invitation to the Sangha, it should not be undertaken by an individual, in order to dispel the doubt that both invitations are prohibited. Invited together with the Sangha

It is also said to be "yes." If the Sangha is invited in this way, then there is no fault in the individual's commitment. Always saying "yes" means that if the Sangha or an individual is invited until the end of their life, it should be regarded as one's own. The thirty-fifth chapter. What should be done to incur a downfall for staying longer than the invitation period? Therefore, it is said that if there is no fixed time limit, and after receiving the invitation, later one does not invite in other ways, repeatedly, or on time, and eats the offerings after the fourth month is completed, one commits a downfall. Without specifying a time limit means that whether the donor or the patron says, "I invite you until this time" or "I always invite you," there is no time limit specified in any way like this. Having an invitation means that the donor or patron belongs to an individual or the Sangha, and because of the invitation, some monks will be invited. Such a donor or patron is said to have an invitation, which is synonymous with having opening and closing, having prohibition, and having inviting. If the donor or patron has an invitation, and later the monk eats in a certain situation, therefore it is said that later one does not invite in other ways, repeatedly, or on time. The donor or patron has an invitation, and apart from the previous monk having an invitation, the monk is not invited later at other times. This is not inviting later. If one knows in what way one is not inviting later, therefore it is said that one is not inviting in other ways, repeatedly, or on time. Among them, not inviting in other ways means not inviting in other ways that are different from the previous invitation without a specified time limit.
