The term "should not be done" means: one should not think that the wall is not the land itself, but should say that it is the land itself. The nature of the land is the land itself. From this, it should be understood that the roof should also be considered land. If the upper part of a pile of earth is sticky and the lower part is not sticky, then it should be known that it is not the land itself. If it becomes sticky, then it is determined to be land. For aggregates, distinguishing characteristics by the main component is itself a distinction. For example, for aggregates such as land, it is precisely by the main component that characteristics are distinguished. For any aggregate, whichever substance's characteristic (such as hardness, etc.) is the main component, that aggregate should be distinguished, indicated, and acknowledged by that characteristic, because that component occupies the main position in that aggregate. Therefore, for other substances that exist in small quantities, the main component is the most important. The reason for saying "Therefore, for other substances that exist in small quantities, the main component is the most important" is that, for aggregates, it is precisely by the main component that characteristics are distinguished. Therefore, for situations where different kinds of substances are mixed, it should be known that the main component is the most important. For example, for a pile of earth mixed with sand, it should be considered that most of it is land. The term "not a mixture" means: if carving is done here or someone is made to carve, it will become a real object, but for others it is a fault. The term "burning itself is damage" means: it should be known that the burning of the land itself is damage. The term "damage itself is half" means: the damage to the land itself is half, which is committing a fault. Here, the scriptures say that if the land is burned due to melting, or if carving is done, that is a fault. Making someone carve is also a fault. The scriptures also say that complete damage is also the same. Here, the so-called complete damage should be understood to refer to situations such as becoming mud. The grease, slopes, walls, and debris of the land are also the same. It should be connected to "half." The grease, slopes, walls, and debris of the land, if they become debris, then they are half. The term "its debris" refers to the debris of the wall. The main components such as stones, ashes, bones, and sand are also the same.

It should be connected to the phrase "it is also half." The term "calcareous matter" refers to limestone and the like. Where there is a large proportion of soil and calcareous matter, that is half. The term "etc." also includes residual substances that are not the essence of the soil. It should also be connected to the phrase "actions, etc.," which is also half. What is that? Therefore, it is said, "Pulling out stakes, drawing lines, taking sand, blocking heavy objects, moving mud, and lifting seedlings, etc., related to this, and also the heat of destruction," etc., should be connected to the phrase "those are also half." If a stake is driven in, it becomes an offense of downfall, while pulling out a stake becomes a misdeed. Drawing lines on the ground with fingers, etc., and blocking heavy objects, among which blocking heavy objects that would take away sand, is blocking heavy objects that would take away sand. Moving and stirring sticky mud, lifting seedlings and bottles, etc., related to mud, and whatever is the nature of the heat substance that destroys and breaks down walls, etc., destroying it is also a misdeed. If a monk uses them here with any intention, will he commit a complete or partial offense? Therefore, it is said, "If one has a destructive mind here, that is so." In the actions of pulling out stakes, etc., whichever monk has a destructive mind here, he is the one with a destructive mind, and doing those things will incur an offense here. It should also be understood that here, too, the primary focus is on the perception of the earth. Like this, if there is no perception of the earth, a destructive mind will not arise towards the object of the earth, therefore, whoever has a destructive mind will undoubtedly also have a perception of the earth. Therefore, there is no downfall for thoughts of counting, telling, joking, etc.
