Moreover, if one mainly recognizes this and eats it, it will become a downfall. Regarding "what is taken in the hand should not be swallowed," "what is taken in the hand" refers to food taken by the monk himself without being given. Regarding "should not be swallowed," it is a synonym for "should not be eaten." Regarding "what is cooked within the boundary and what is left overnight should also not be eaten," food cooked within the boundary and food left overnight within the boundary should also not be swallowed. "Within the boundary" is a synonym for "inside the boundary." "Cooked" refers to cooking such as burning and boiling. "Left overnight" refers to the synonym of placing it for a moment on the next day. Here, the question is, what is "cooked inside"? It is food cooked in a monastery on land that has not been agreed upon and is not suitable. What is "left overnight inside"? It is food left overnight in a monastery on land that has not been agreed upon and is not suitable. It is said that a fully ordained monk should not eat it. Here, the word "monastery" refers to the basis of the place, referring to the boundary that includes uncooked things, not the temporary boundary defined by fasting and other actions. Regarding "what is cooked by a monk is also the same," the word "also the same" is connected to "should not be swallowed," whether cooked by a monk inside or outside the boundary, a fully ordained monk should not eat it. What is cooked by a monk is not only for monks to eat, but also for nuns to eat. It is not the case that they should not eat it. What is cooked by a nun is not only for nuns to eat, but also for monks to eat. It is not the case that they should not eat it. There is no fault when a donor offers food cooked or left overnight on unsuitable land. If the donor offers butter and rice, etc., and then comes to distribute it himself, then there is a fault, because it becomes his own thing from the beginning. A monk in the city needs it for the sake of the monk

Whatever is done with storehouses and cellars, etc., and monks dwell in them day and night, it should be known that it is the dwelling of the monk. If one abandons dwelling there, then one is separated from the very basis of the monk's dwelling. Masters should not allow any monks to dwell in this place. Like this, in some places of the monastery, it is determined that monks are not allowed to enter, that is only separated from the monk's dwelling. Similarly, if a monk stays in an empty monastery for a few days for rest, it becomes the monk's dwelling. If that monk leaves there, then it is separated from the monk's dwelling. Taking the hand-held object, do not swallow, etc., these three sutras are based on the establishment of etc., therefore, it is summarized here. Here, what is raw and cooked? To say "is that", here means, in the occasion of cooking within the boundary and cooking by the monk. There, what is raw cooked? It should be known that it is that which is cooked within the boundary and cooked by the monk. Because it is said that even if giving and receiving is done, it should be cooked. To say "before one-third of the non-greasy is that", non-greasy means sesame and rice and meat, etc. dry things. The raw nature of those, before one-third is that, is raw nature. It is shown in this way, the raw nature of thin things such as sesame and rice and dry meat, etc., means, through peeling, etc., one-third is before, after one-third it is not raw nature. Even if a greasy item becomes powder, it is not separated from greasiness. Even if a hard item becomes powder, it is not separated from hardness, such as wheat, etc. that is not ground very finely. To say "the milk of the greasy that has become color", the raw nature of greasy items is that before it becomes color.

Its nature is raw. Regarding the statement, "Juices that have been boiled twice are raw," it means that the nature of juices like milk and other substances is raw before being boiled twice; its nature is raw. For all the above cases, it should be understood that beyond those boundaries, it is cooked. Regarding the statement, "That which has been warmed by fire is not uncooked," it means that that which has been warmed by fire, such as in winter, is not uncooked, but cooked. Therefore, do not warm it with fire within the boundaries. Regarding the statement, "The accomplishment of staying depends on growth, so it is not immature," it means that any accomplishment of staying that depends on growth is not immature inside; this should be understood in connection. "Staying" means staying in a suitable place, like fruits. "Its accomplishment" means that that staying is accomplished in a suitable place. "That which is accomplished depends on growth" means depending on growth; that which is accomplished in a suitable place, like fruits, is connected to its own roots and trunk, etc., staying in an unsuitable place, or its own roots and trunk, etc., staying in an unsuitable place, from which it falls naturally without being picked by people, connected to the roots of growth, staying in a suitable place; both of these situations are called depending on growth. "It is not immature" means that, in this way, the two situations where the accomplishment of staying in an unsuitable place, like fruits, depends on growth, are accomplished because they arise from an unsuitable place for growth, so they are not immature inside, but mature; this is the summary of this statement. In this way, that which the accomplishment of staying depends on growth is not immature inside, but mature, because of growth, things stay in a suitable place, its accomplishment arises from an unsuitable place, and it is not separated from the roots of growth, for example, the fruits of Nepalese apple trees and Madulunga trees, etc., which grow from unsuitable places, are connected to branches and float in suitable places.
