In order to explain the nature of what is created, it is said that even if one takes a little bit of anything that can be eaten, even salt, it is the same nature. Even salt means a word that means even just a little bit of salt. Anything that can be eaten means anything that can be eaten and cooked. A little bit means even a little bit. To take means to give and receive. The same nature means that the food that is created is that nature, and the food that is created is given and received for the purpose of eating. The following "consciousness is the main thing" is also connected here with the name "consciousness is the main thing" and the name that means the one who mainly intends. To whom is the one who mainly intends? Therefore, it is said that it is for abandonment and non-remainder. So, what is abandonment? And what is remainder? In order to explain the nature of abandonment, it is said that "abandonment is giving up the dwelling place." Giving up any place where one lives is called abandonment. By whom is it abandoned? Therefore, it is said "of dwelling." It is of the monk. What kind of dwelling? Therefore, it is said "of the food that is created, such as roots and other things that can be cooked." It means the word that means the food that is created, such as roots and other things that can be cooked. Roots and so on, etc., the previous "etc." includes trunks, leaves, flowers and fruits that can be cooked. Cooking and so on, etc., the following "etc." includes rice, hot porridge, meat, oil cakes and dumplings that can be eaten. Is it abandoned without doing anything at all? Therefore, it is said "roots and trunks, leaves and flowers, fruits and other things that can be cooked, and other than tsampa, what can be eaten or cannot be eaten, and unmixed giving and receiving, standing in the direction of obtaining power." It means that other than roots and other things that can be cooked, and other than tsampa, what can be eaten, what cannot be eaten, and the inquirer who gives and receives power without mixing, has abandoned.

If the dwelling is abandoned, it is abandonment. If one asks what is the difference between those who ask for the power of giving, for that reason, it is said that in the aspect of obtaining, there is "standing." A monk stands in the aspect of obtaining food for the sake of giving. This is what is taught: If one abandons the entire power of giving that inquires about such things to be eaten, and if a monk abandons the dwelling from the place where food is prepared, it is abandonment. Abandoning roots and so on does not become abandonment, as meat, sugar, and so on are also included in it. Here, the scripture is a question: If a monk temporarily abandons things other than the five foods, what kind of transgression would it be if he later seeks the five foods? It is said that there is no transgression. The five things to be eaten are dough, meat, rice, hot porridge, and fried cakes. If one abandons the giving of those things to be eaten, it is equivalent to abandoning all food. Abandoning roots and so on does not abandon the things to be eaten. "Please eat" is also the same. It means that if one says "Please eat," one should know that it is also abandonment, not just abandoning what was said before. In some places, the word "Please eat" is used in other places, meaning to give to others. If one does not accept it oneself, will it not become the result of prohibiting one's own place? The questioner has only temporarily prohibited his own place, not prohibiting all food. "Go" is also the same. It is not just abandoning what was said before, but also saying "Go get butter" to the one who asks everything, this is also abandonment. "Look for it" is also the same. The word "also the same" is to echo the previous "also the same," it is not just abandoning what was said before, but saying "It's already eaten" is also abandonment. If the word "temporarily" is added, then it is not. It means that if the word "temporarily" is added to everything said before,
