The synonym for "doing in between." It is explained here: If a monk accepts invitations from two places, he should never abandon the earliest invitation. He should protect himself from abandoning it, and if he is with the other inviter afterwards, he may go there and eat. If he does not protect himself from abandoning the previous food and abandons it, then even if he goes to the later one, he should not eat. To have done it with a "hostile" thought is not an invitation. Combining the term "invitation," it should be understood that inviting with a hostile thought is not an invitation. Here, the scripture says that if a monk temporarily borrows from a bhikkhu with only a hostile thought, and later finds another borrowing in the usual situation, what offense would he commit if he wanted that? The close attendant said that there is no offense. A hostile thought is to think of hostility. Whoever has another hostile thought, that person is the one with the hostile thought. It is explained here: If someone with a hostile thought invites a monk, even if that monk goes to another invitation and eats food, there is no offense. What is called "inviting from an unsuitable place" is that which is unsuitable to eat, not given or received, and the meat of single-hoofed animals, etc., even if invited, should be understood as not an invitation. Therefore, it is not for the Sangha. What is called "also" is that for which monk there is another invitation, therefore it is not for the Sangha, a general invitation is not another invitation for that monk. If, therefore, it is a general invitation for the Sangha, then at that time it is another invitation for that monk. The source here is that for the sake of the noble Well-Come, when the Brahmins and householders of the mountain of the killing of the water monster child invited the Sangha of monks headed by the Buddha, later the noble Well-Come, the Brahmins and householders were told by the inviter: The Brahmins and householders of the mountain of the killing of the water monster child for me.

Ra. The Buddha and other bhikshu sanghas were invited to eat milk porridge for seven days, but at that time I did not accept, so I said these things. Therefore, this sutra was made. Also, placing the five types of people is also okay, this sentence should be connected with "not being invited." The so-called "other" refers to another place of invitation other than the place where one eats. The so-called "placing the five types of people is also okay" means that placing these five types of people, namely bhikshus, bhikshunis, shikshamanas, shramaneras, and shramanerikas, is also okay, because they are not invitees. Here it is explained that if two bhikshus are invited, and one eats in one place that is invited, and the five types of people such as bhikshus are placed in another place that is invited, then that other place that is invited is not an invitee, so there is no downfall. This is the summary. Here, the sutra says that for scattered things, if a bhikshu is invited to prepare food and eat, if one distinguishes between bhikshus, there is no downfall. If one distinguishes between bhikshunis, there is also no downfall. Similarly, if one distinguishes between shikshamanas, shramaneras, and shramanerikas, there is also no downfall. Similarly, if one distinguishes between all five types of people, there is also no downfall. That is what is said. The so-called "that is in accordance with the Dharma," the so-called "that" refers to placing the five types of people in another invited place. The so-called "in accordance with the Dharma" means not being separated from the Dharma. Its object is that. That is in accordance with the Dharma, and it is a reasonable summary. The so-called "accepting others is also okay" means that if there are other invitations, accepting placement is also in accordance with the Dharma. The so-called "if a famine occurs, all invitees should be taken as one's own" means that if a famine occurs, all invitees should be taken as one's own. Here it is explained that in times of famine, all invitees should be taken as one's own, and they can also be placed first. The so-called "eating is also okay" means that eating all the invitees is also without downfall. Giving is also okay.
