This is called a term. The so-called "to place accordingly" means: the residence should be corresponding, and placed together accordingly, not placed together with what is not corresponding. For example, round things with round things, square things with square things, beds and so on with beds and so on, like placing them accordingly. The so-called "if cushions and items are obtained in other monasteries, they should be returned" means: in other monasteries, if monks obtain cushions and offerings, they should be lent by the monks who have become the Sangha. The so-called "if there is no rain or suspicion of rain" means: at that time, if there is no rain or suspicion of rain afterwards, they should be returned. The so-called "if there is wind and rain on the road, they should be piled under a tree or by a wall" means: if there is wind or rain on the road, then the guarding monks should pile the cushions and offerings under a tree or by a wall. The so-called "cover with one bad item" means: the guardians should cover them with the oldest and worst of all the items. The so-called "after arriving at the monastery, dry the items" means: after arriving at the monastery, the wet items should be dried. Here, the text says that if a patron has two monasteries, a village monastery and a city monastery, and the monks of the city monastery despise the items and residences of the monks of the village monastery and do not give them. The Blessed One said: to despise. They returned them, but because of the rain, the items of various colors were spoiled. The Blessed One said: if it rains or is suspected to rain, do not return them. If you encounter rain on the road, put them under a tree. After arriving at the monastery, dry the items. The so-called "if there is a fire or flood, the Sangha's should also be rescued first" means: if there is a fire or flood, first rescue the individual's items, and then rescue the Sangha's items. When? Therefore, it is said, "one's own bowl and Dharma robes have already been taken out," one's own Dharma.
