Enjoying after laying down. Leaving without a entrusted monk will also result in faults here. Therefore, enjoying what others have been made to do is the same as doing it yourself, and the faults are the same. When two people use it at the same time, it is said that the one who gets up later is the one who is responsible. This is related to the saying that "the dwelling should be taken care of." When two monks use a dwelling such as a bed at the same time, the one who gets up later is the one who gets up later. The monk who gets up later is responsible for taking care of the dwelling. This is what is meant here: If two monks are in the same dwelling at the same time, the one who gets up last should take care of the dwelling without any cover. If they get up at the same time, the younger one should take care of it. If the two get up at the same time, the younger one should take care of the dwelling. If they are the same, then the two should do it. If they are the same age, then the two should take care of the dwelling. This is what is meant here: If the two are the same age, then the two alone should take care of the dwelling. If it is said that "one should leave after entrusting," it is for the purpose of showing the nature of the object of entrustment. It is said that those who are shameless, those who are with inner feelings, those who are old, those who are sick, and those who have not been fully ordained should not be entrusted with this. The shameless are to be understood as those who are promiscuous in morality. Those who are with inner feelings are those who are jealous. The old are those who are weakened by old age. The sick are those who cannot bear to be joined. Those who have not been fully ordained are all those who have not been fully ordained. This here is the dwelling. It is not to be entrusted, which means that it is not to be entrusted to take care of the dwelling. This is what is meant here: In all ways, the shameless and others should not be entrusted with the care of the dwelling. Now, for the purpose of showing the nature of entrustment itself, it is said that things like "take care of this monastery," "look at this dwelling," "collect it," or "lock the door" are entrustments. Entrustment is a variety of

Firstly, for example, "Is this a monastery?" or "Look at this monastery!" or "Is this a dwelling?" or "Tidy up the dwelling!" or "Close the latch!" and so on. The word "like" means "kind," like those five kinds of entrustment. Saying "it is an entrustment" means: those five kinds of entrustment are entrustments, and among them, even if one commands any one, it is an entrustment. In order to show the self-nature of the previously mentioned "damage," it is said, "There are three kinds of damage, namely, being blown down by the wind, rain causing the order to change, and hail, etc." There are three kinds of damage: the wind blows down the dwelling, the rain causes the order of the dwelling to change, and hail and ants building nests, etc., cause the order of the dwelling to change. In order to emphasize "the order changes," the word "also" is said. Whichever of those three kinds of damage occurs, it is called damage to the dwelling. After showing the self-nature of both preparation and ultimate, if one asks: What kind of fault is here, and who is the author? Therefore, it is said, "For it, the Saṃgha's dwelling itself or the one designated by it is placed without concealment, like the authors." "For it" means: for placing the dwelling without concealment. "For it, the author is the Saṃgha's dwelling itself," etc., one should know that the remaining words are supplementary explanations. For it, what is to be placed without concealment is the Saṃgha's dwelling itself; it is not an individual's. The one who places it is the monk himself, or the monks designated by himself. What did the Saṃgha's dwelling, oneself or the designated one, do to be the author of this fault? It is when placing it without concealment. Such a limb is the author of this fault. In what situation is one the author of the fault? Therefore, it is said, "Ultimately, it is the actual deed." In the ultimate situation of becoming damaged, one is the author of the fault of the actual deed. For preparation, it is a misdeed.
