"Regarding things, it is not so" means: the seed and the growing object are one, therefore combining into one will not happen, but it will become as many combinations as the number of crushed ones. This is its summary. "Even if it can grow after being taken out, it is already the end" means: when trees and the like are uprooted from their own position, etc., even if the thing taken out can indeed grow in another place, the number of combinations of taking out remains as previously stated, and once taken out, the main body also reaches the end and becomes a fallen object. It is stated here that: if trees and the like are uprooted from their own position, even if it has the nature of being able to grow like this, nevertheless, one should know that the thing taken out and uprooted from its own position has been destroyed and damaged. From then on, there is no fault in picking branches, leaves, and flowers, etc., until the roots are planted in another place. "Taking out fish nests and fish eggs from the water is the same" means: a fish nest is a root like a fish egg in the water. Taking out fish eggs and fish nests from the water is the same, it is the taking out itself. It is stated here that: if fish eggs and fish nests are taken out of the water, even if they have the nature of being able to grow, one should know that taking them out is cutting off, and it will completely become a transgression. "Swallowing seeds whole without chewing them is half" means: not chewing or crushing the seeds of cedar trees, peach pits, plums, and apricot kernels, etc., but swallowing them whole, this is doing the act of destroying seeds, therefore it is "half," it is a misdeed. This is its summary. In general, in all cases of falling, mentioning the word "half" is to be understood as a misdeed. The text here is: if a Bhikshu monk swallows the seeds of a cedar tree whole without chewing them, what kind of fall will it become? Answer: It is a misdeed. Saying "It would be good if this were cut down" is the "oh" of taking out, meaning: the Bhikshu says, it would be good if someone cut down this tree. By chance.

If it is said "to diminish", then when entrusting it to another party, that part of what was previously said as "already taken out" is the synonym for the combined "minor offense". If it is cut off from that basis, then it should be understood as the ultimate entity itself. Here, the scripture is: Asking the monk, if he says, "If this tree were cut down, it would be good", and he makes it wither, what offense would he commit? The answer is: a minor offense. This is what the Buddha said. If it is not through magical power, then there is no transgression. It means: If a monk cuts down this tree through magical power, there is no transgression. Here the scripture is: Asking the monk, if he wants to use magical power to make the tree wither, what offense would he commit? The answer is: a near miss, no transgression. To perceive a seed as another seed is the same as itself. It means: The sapling perceives the seed of the sapling, etc., as the root seed, which is the same as itself. It is the same as the seed of the sapling, etc., but not half. Similarly, perceiving growth as a seed is also the same as growth itself. Perceiving a seed as growth is also the same as the seed itself, not half. Because everything has the possibility of damaging the seed, etc. If a monk has the idea of damaging the seed, etc., even if he damages it with the opposite intention, it will only become the entity itself. Bark, branches, gray leaves, blooming flowers, and ripe fruits are all called half-dead. It means: Combine the words bark, branches, gray leaves, blooming flowers, and ripe fruits. Because these are known as half-dead in the world, so here too, according to the world's saying, they are called half-dead. Destroying and damaging these half-dead things will result in a minor offense. If they are roots and have not separated from their own nature, then it is not. It means: If the roots of those things like bark have not separated from the true nature,

That which is not completely separated from the earth should not be referred to as half-dead. If they are separated and divided from that place, they will become complete entities. Here, the scripture on bark is: If one peels bark, peeling bark that is connected to the heartwood, it becomes a downfall. If one peels bark that is not connected to the heartwood, it becomes a minor offense. This should also be applied to green leaves, white petals, blooming flowers, and ripe fruits. Among these, the roots and sap of flowers and fruits have the same nature as themselves. Ripe fruits have the nature of ripeness, and unripe fruits have the nature of unripeness. It should be understood that they are different aspects of the same thing. The sap of a flower belongs to the flower itself, and the roots should be understood from its roots. Here, the scripture is: Emerging suddenly from resin, if one cuts the sap, it is a minor offense. If one peels from the moss of a rock, it is a minor offense. Here, the word "sap" should be understood to include the sap of blooming flowers such as lotuses and the sap of petals. Here, "moss of a rock" should be understood as the moss of a stone, not susu. A seed that has been sown but has not yet sprouted roots is referred to as half-sprouted. That is, a seed that has been sown but has not yet sprouted roots, only slightly germinating, should be referred to as half-sprouted, and committing an offense against it is a minor offense. Lichen, mushrooms, wood ear, and mold on containers and clothes, etc., are referred to as already sprouted. The word "referred to as" should be added. Lichen, mushrooms, wood ear, mold on containers, mold on clothes, and the word "etc." includes mold on loads, etc. These are all referred to as half-sprouted, and if one destroys or damages them, it is a minor offense. Pouring or spilling cow dung juice, mixing branches, etc., as well as mandalas, broom dust, and the thought of them themselves, there is no downfall. Cow dung juice
