When it becomes the state of "grain," it is called "seedling." It is called "a dharma that cannot grow" because it does not have the power to produce sprouts. It is called "If you are not happy, pray," meaning: If a bhikkhu is not happy to be understood in each of the lay households that can be understood, then at that time all the bhikkhus should pray to be understood in each of the lay households, saying that these two bhikkhus and bhikkhunis are sinful. It is called "Knowing as the main thing," here it is also connected with the name "Knowing as the main thing" and the name "One who mainly recognizes." As for which realm, therefore it is said "having the nature of not understanding the listener and not having received full ordination," meaning: In that realm that has the nature of not understanding the listener and not having received full ordination, it is the one who mainly recognizes. Thus it is shown: If the bhikkhu who causes the downfall knows that the listener is a defeated person, and does not know the downfall called sanghavasesa, and is one who has not received full ordination, then for those two realms of the listener, the bhikkhu who causes the downfall is the one who mainly recognizes. If following what will lead to saying the evil place downfall? Therefore it is said "If you say," meaning: If you say in words. If what should be said? Therefore it is said "Defeated and sanghavasesa, etc., whether separate or combined," meaning: The evil place should be said, that is, defeated and sanghavasesa, etc., whether separate, that is, different, or combined, that is, the nature of being combined. Then, when the two combined ones are said, is it one downfall at that time? Or are there multiple downfalls? Therefore it is said "There are no different words in multiple meanings," meaning: There are no different words in multiple meanings, therefore, even if one word has multiple meanings, but if you want to express multiple meanings, the words will not become different, so it is one downfall. Thus it is shown: Because it is one word, how can it become one downfall for those two combined downfalls?

If so. For example, if any bhikkhu tells a lie, saying, "This person has killed five beings belonging to the animal realm," because it is one sentence, he will commit one offense of lying. Other than these two situations, speaking of other faults, know that this is a subsequent misdeed. In what way does speaking incur this offense? Therefore, it is said, "To one who has been appointed," meaning that because of speaking, to one who has not been appointed by the Sangha, that is, one who has not been appointed, it is to the one who speaks of one who has not been appointed. Is this the case in all circumstances? Therefore, it is said, "To one who has not informed the Sangha," meaning that if it is to one who has not informed the Sangha, informing means that the notification has been made. To inform for the purpose of informing the Sangha, even if it is said, there is no offense. Speaking the truth will incur this offense, but if lying, then another offense has been spoken. If the misdeeds of one who has taken full ordination are spoken, this offense will be incurred, but if speaking of one who has not taken full ordination, it is merely reproach. The offense of speaking of misdeeds has been spoken. Finished. Desiring to speak of the offense of declaring superior human qualities, therefore it is said, "In truth," meaning that whatever is shown as the aspect of declaring defeat, it should also be applied here. In this way, the meaning of the words here is: if one speaks to someone in one's own realm as possessing superior human qualities, if it is indeed true, then at that time this offense will be incurred. At that time, without changing the perception, if one says that one possesses superior human qualities, then it is the offense of declaring superior human qualities. To what kind of person should it be said? Therefore, it is said, "To one who has not seen the truth and has not taken full ordination," meaning that whoever has not seen the truth, that is, one who has not seen the truth, it is said to the person who has not seen the truth and has not taken full ordination. Here, some versions of the text say that there is no offense in speaking to one who has seen the truth and has perfect insight. Displaying miracles in front of a householder.
