It should be separated. If separated beyond this limit, a Nishthita offense will be committed. Because (it) is said so (in the scriptures). Due to the beginning, in the "Pratimoksha Sutra" and so on, the term "after summer" is used. Wanting to explain the time limit of separation, therefore, it is said that due to this matter, due to the meaning, one should separate within six days starting from the (robes) residing in other villages. This "this" refers to the Bhikshu Aranyaka dweller. Due to the meaning refers to, due to the necessity of having Dharma. Starting from the (robes) residing in other villages refers to, starting from a Dharma robe placed in another village that has become the realm of the Aranyaka dweller and residing there. If the village that has become the realm also becomes full of terror, then at that time it should also be placed in another village, because it is summarized, so "other village" is said. In that Aranyaka dwelling place, outside of anything such as a fathom near the holder of the Dharma robe, when dawn breaks, it should be known that this is what is meant by separation here. So, for how long is separation allowed due to necessity? Therefore, it is said "within six days", until the end of the sixth day, before the dawn of the seventh day has risen. Should be separated refers to, also refers to outside the boundary of the place of the Dharma robe, is a synonym for "outside the boundary". This indicates that, due to the necessity of having Dharma, the Bhikshu Aranyaka dweller can separate within six days starting from the Dharma robe residing in another village, or residing in his own dwelling place, but exceeding this limit is not allowed. There is no permission for exceeding this limit refers to, exceeding the sixth day, the seventh day, there is no permission for separation, and a transgression will be committed. This indicates that when the dawn of the seventh day rises, the transgression called separation will occur, this is a synonym. Due to obstacles, there is no fault for the future refers to, the Aranyaka dweller went to another place, due to obstacles such as thieves, did not return after six days, and exceeded the seventh day, there is no fault. This indicates that if the Bhikshu Aranyaka dweller went outside the boundary, due to the terror of thieves and others causing harm, exceeded six days

Especially if one does not return, even then one is allowed to remain freely without separation. Here, the text refers to a monastic monk who leaves his Dharma robes in a village other than the monastery, and goes beyond the boundary of the enclosure for some business, thinking to return there, but if some obstacles arise and he cannot return, is it said that he is separated from the Dharma robes? Or is it said that he will not approach? That is what is said. Some people think in this way: If a monk first decides, 'I will go outside for six days,' and then goes, there is no fault of separation for exceeding six days. If he does not make such a prior determination, but decides to go for one day or one night, and then exceeds six days, then there is only fault. Because there are such thoughts, in order to refute them, here it is said that going for six days is too extreme, so prior determination is not a limb. In this training ground, prior determination is not a limb, like this, wanting to exceed the time of going for six days, that kind of prior determination is not a limb that becomes a fault. No matter how one goes with or without prior determination, it is permissible to decide to go for one day and one night, and then exceed six days, and one is not at fault. The statement that separation is abandoned after seven days has been explained. Now, wanting to explain the abandonment of the great summer cloth, it is said that from the first day of the previous month of the day on which one has vowed to dwell, one should seek the great summer cloth. The day on which a monk seeking the great summer cloth has vowed to dwell refers to the day on which the monk himself has vowed to dwell in summer, that is, the day before the summer retreat, which is the sixteenth day of the middle summer month. The day after the summer retreat is the sixteenth day of the small summer month. That is the day on which one has vowed to dwell, and its previous month is from the full moon of the first summer month to the full moon of the middle summer month, or from the full moon of the middle summer month to the full moon of the small summer month. That is the previous month of the day on which one has vowed to dwell,
