Regarding the statement "For those, there is no fault," it means that merely carrying a hat, etc., of sufficient size, for the sake of the hat, etc., there is no downfall in doing so. In order to show the conversion and comparison of the measurements of distance and Yojana from the smallest to the largest, it is said: ultimate particles, fine particles, water, iron, rabbit, sheep, bull, sunbeam particles, nit, louse, barley, finger-widths, these are the former six to the latter. Ultimate particles, fine particles, water, iron, rabbit, sheep, bull, and sunlight, they themselves are separated, and then combined with the word "particle," meaning six are one later. The word "particle" should be combined separately with words from water and below, namely water particle, iron particle, rabbit particle, sheep particle, bull particle, sunlight particle. Likewise, nit, louse, barley, and finger-width are also the same, from ultimate particles to the end of finger-width, these are the former six converted and compared to the latter. This is how it is shown: six ultimate particles equal one fine particle. Six fine particles equal one water particle. Six water particles equal one iron particle. Six iron particles equal one rabbit particle. Six rabbit particles equal one sheep particle. Six sheep particles equal one bull particle. Six bull particles equal one sunbeam particle. Six sunbeam particles equal one nit. Six nits equal one louse. Six lice equal one barley. Six barleys equal one finger-width. Six four-fingers equal one cubit. Four and a half cubits equal a person's height. Four cubits equal a bow. Five hundred of those equal a distance. Regarding the statement "Six four-fingers equal one cubit," it means six sets of four fingers equal one cubit, that is, twenty-four fingers are counted as one cubit. Regarding the statement "Four and a half cubits equal a person's height," it means that any person whose height is four and a half cubits, that is four and a half cubits, which is called four and a half cubits equals a person's height. Regarding the statement "Four cubits equal a bow," it means that any bow whose length is four cubits, that is a four-cubit bow. Five hundred of those equal a distance.

That is, five hundred bows are called one yojana. Eight yojanas are one yojana. Six barley grains placed horizontally are known as one finger joint. Here, the scripture says that six barley grains are one finger joint. Because the monastery establishes terms in the Vinaya, its measurement is also shown here. It is said, "The beginning of the monastery is its boundary," and it should be known that the beginning of the monastery is the boundary of that yojana. After that, even if it is not said to be a monastery, it is established. Regarding "Do not carry with the body," carrying with the body refers to carrying a load on the shoulders, and one should not carry with the shoulders. Regarding "Do not carry with the chest, back, waist, or head," it means that one should not carry any load with the chest, etc. Regarding "Here, do not doubt that it is not common," it means that when carrying a load, one should not doubt that the precepts of monks and nuns are not common, but should know that they are common. It is taught as follows: Not only should monks not carry loads with their bodies, etc., but nuns should also not carry them. Regarding "Do not carry more than half the load," it means that a monk should not carry more than half the load that a person can carry. Here, the scripture says that a load that one person can carry should be carried by two monks. The abandonment of holding wool has already been explained. Now, the abandonment of wetting wool will be explained: that is the same as what was said in the case of the abandonment of washing before, that is, for the old things that have been previously blessed and are suitable for washing, such as robes and cushions, etc., by assigning them to others to carry, cook, or wash. It should be known that the situation here is exactly the same as what was said before, except that some differences exist here that need to be explained: the place of the old Dharma robe is sheep's wool, that is, in the case of the abandonment of washing before, the place of "for the old things that have been previously blessed and are suitable for washing, such as robes and cushions, etc." here is sheep's
