This is the explanation called "self." The so-called "old" means that whatever is used in any of the three periods is the explanation of "old." This should also be understood as a symbol. If it is contaminated by unclean things, etc., no matter how long it is used, it is suitable for washing. Even if it is not used during the period, it will only produce things that should be discarded. The explanation here is that a monk enters a village with suitable monastic robes. At this time, if the monastic robe has not left the body, will it be taken out because it should be discarded? There is a close attendant. For example, if the monastic robe that enters the house is contaminated by unclean things, etc., if a non-relative bhikkhuni is asked to wash it, she will commit a Nissaggiya Pacittiya offense. Venerable, if a monk has the Sangha's monastic robe washed, what offense will he commit? If it becomes dirty because someone used it, he will commit a Dukkata offense. This is the explanation suitable for washing. The so-called "monastic robe" refers to any of the seven monastic robes. This is the explanation called "monastic robe." The so-called "letting someone wash," "letting someone cook," and "letting someone sew" are the explanations of letting someone wash, etc. Venerable, if a monk sends a non-relative bhikkhuni to wash a monastic robe, what offense will he commit? He will commit a Dukkata offense. This is the explanation called "sending" and "non-relative bhikkhuni." Doing part of it is the same as doing all of it. It means that washing part of the monastic robe, etc., or doing part of the work, you should know that this is doing all the work that leads to downfall. The explanation here is that, Venerable, a monk enters a village with suitable monastic robes, and if that monastic robe has not left the body, will it be taken out because it should be discarded? This is what was said before, it is the explanation of a part of the monastic robe. Even if it is immersed in water, even if it is immersed in ashes, even if it is clapping hands, it is also the same. This is part of the work.

It is emptiness. The so-called "having done is the same as causing to do" means that the designated bhikshuni, when she causes actions such as bathing to be done, and when it is finally completed, one should also recognize that at that time causing actions such as bathing to be done is the same as having done it. Merely designating is not enough. The so-called "until the end of the result, it is the same" means that as long as she causes actions such as bathing to be done, until the desired result is not achieved, the actions of causing bathing to be done are the same. Interruptions during the period are not different, and one should recognize that this is to be done in all circumstances. For similar actions, it may be considered the same, but in order to eliminate the doubt about how different kinds of actions, such as causing bathing, causing cooking, causing cutting, etc., can be the same, it is said that "in the links, the results are the same." The so-called "in the links" means that even if there is an interruption in the middle or the kind is different, the results are the same, and one should recognize that the results of bathing, cooking, and cutting are the same. They are not different because of different causes. Here the scripture says that wherever causing bathing, causing cooking, causing cutting is done, it is a Nissaggiya Pacittiya. Therefore, when the three actions of causing bathing, etc., are all completed, it is said to be one Nissaggiya Pacittiya, which is the emptiness here. For what is mainly based on perception, if the matter itself is like that, then it is real. If the matter itself is not like that, then it is close to reality. The so-called "for what is mainly based on perception, if the matter itself is like that, then it is real. If the matter itself is not like that, then it is close to reality" means that mainly based on perception, in which treatises the perception is mainly explained, in those treatises, if the matter itself is like that, then it is real, the matter itself is like that, its object is like that, then it is real, it will become abandonment. Here it is explained like this: If the perception is like that, and the matter is also like that, the bhikshuni is not un-anointed,
