The edge of a place is a synonym for "edge" and "end." It is not only cutting off that is a boundary; things like walls, fences, and moats are also boundaries. Just as the boundaries between those who are not a single owner are distinct, so too the boundaries between those who are a single owner do not become distinct. Therefore, it is said that the boundaries between those who are not a single owner are distinct. The property of a single owner is one. What is not one is not one, like two or many. The boundaries between many who are not a single owner are distinct. Common things like outer doors are not distinct. This shows that where many owners each have different houses, the boundaries between the doors and fences of the houses are distinct. In places like homes, where many owners have the same meaning, not each different, but exist as one house, the boundaries between the doors and fences of the houses are not distinct, because all the brothers and so on are the masters of the house. That is to show the fruit of this sutra, the boundaries between many owners are distinct. Those common places, like outer doors, are not distinct, just as a house with different neighbors has a common door that is not distinct. Likewise, in the differentiation it is said, what is a neighboring different house? It is the house of different people, or of brothers who have separated. What is its neighborhood? It is each different. What is common? It is the door. Similarly, what is a neighboring different battlefield assembly? For example, it is the battlefield assembly of different people, or of brothers who have separated. What is its neighborhood? It is each different. What is common? It is the door. Similarly, in the house of a heretic there is also a common dwelling place for the gods. Similarly, in the market there is a common platform.

That is, the so-called "trading place" refers to the place where merchants buy and sell goods. The so-called "placement platform" refers to the infrastructure such as wood where goods and prices are placed during transactions. Because this is gradually needed by everyone, it is common. Similarly, there are also common seats in shops. The so-called "shop" refers to the place where goods are displayed, etc. The so-called "seat" refers to the place where merchants sit and sell Terminalia chebula and other things. Similarly, there is also a common threshold in the enemy's room. Similarly, there is also a common center in the field. The so-called "field" refers to the place where crops are harvested. The so-called "center" refers to the place of reliance, that is, the place where rituals such as offering tormas are performed, or where grains are piled up. Similarly, there is also a common place for placing musical instruments in the musician's house. Similarly, there is also a common driver's seat in the chariot. The so-called "driver's seat" refers to the place where the driver sits and drives cattle and other animals connected to the chariot. Similarly, there is also a common bow of the boat on the boat. The so-called "bow of the boat" refers to the place where the boatman sits and makes the boat sail. Similarly, there is also a common well in the monastery. In short, those things that are useful to everyone are common. This sutra will not be negated by refutation, so it can also be applied to the following sutras. Regarding the point that "from the perspective of property and views, faith is different but there is no difference," the so-called "on property" is like the case of brothers. The so-called "on views" is like the case of heretics. Through these two ways, for masters whose faith is different but there is no difference, the boundaries between residences are also not different. For those with different beliefs, the boundaries are naturally different. Therefore, if a bhikkhu places his robes in the house of a brother or wealthy person with different beliefs, and himself If you greet the dawn in the gatehouse, you will not be separated from the robes. Similarly, if you place your robes in the gatehouse and go to the homes of your brothers to greet the dawn, there is no fault. Alternatively, the previous sutra can also be understood in this way.
