So! The source of the distinction called "Remaining Sangha of Reverence and Praise" is complete, and there is no source of request and taming in this. Wanting to tell the remaining Sangha of mediation, therefore it is said "If meet", meaning the word of how it is if two meet. If they do not meet, only conveying messages, then it does not constitute a fault. Thus, at the time of request, what fault would a Bhikshuni commit if she mediates for a woman who dwells in asceticism and practices Brahmacharya? She commits a gross offense. Similarly, what fault would a Bhikshu commit if he mediates for food? He commits a gross offense. As it is said, here it is said to be a gross offense because they did not meet, so if they meet, it constitutes a fault. With whom does one meet? Therefore it is said "with another", not mediating with oneself, but meeting with another who has the human way and relies on the root of the doer. With what does one meet? Therefore it is said "in another place", not meeting with oneself, but meeting with another person. With what kind of difference does one meet? Meeting with the wound gate to be relied upon, such as a woman of the human way. By what cause does meeting with another in another place constitute this fault? Therefore it is said "For that purpose, to facilitate discord, giving and receiving information from the one to be given, making the other understand, and stating to the one who spoke earlier." The summarized meaning here is that, followed by the transgressor in the manner described in the sutra, if the two to be given meet, then this fault will be constituted. When explaining the meaning of the limbs, for that purpose, that is, for the purpose of meeting. The so-called "to facilitate discord", discord means that the two to be given are not in harmony, have not yet approached, have not yet satisfied each other. The so-called "harmony" is to harmonize the two who are not in harmony, to approach, to satisfy each other. The so-called "to facilitate" is to accomplish. Here, the so-called "harmony" also refers to the thing itself that makes the mind close.

Yes. It is not that the two give to each other. How can it be accomplished? It is to make their meanings correspond. The word "from the place of giving" means where to give, that is, from within. "Having received the messenger" means: which bhikkhu who has transgressed has received the messenger, the one who has received the messenger is the bhikkhu who has accepted the errand. From where did he receive the messenger? Therefore it is said "from the place of giving", that is, from within. If you ask who to inform after receiving the messenger? Therefore it is said "inform the other party", because there are two parties to give. If you ask which party to inform? Therefore it refers to "the other party", that is, the other party other than the one who received the messenger. Who is that? Therefore it says "inform him", that is, other than the one who received the messenger from the place of giving, to inform the one who is giving. "To inform" means that the bhikkhu who received the messenger informed the other party of the messenger and conveyed the message. Is it enough to just receive the messenger from the place of giving and inform the other party to accomplish it? It is not so, therefore it is said "speak to the former". "He said" means that the giver who is to inform the messenger, said the messenger's reply, that is "he said". If you ask who to tell the messenger's reply that he said? Therefore it is said "to the former", that is, to the former giver, that is, the one who initially received the messenger, this is a summary word. If you ask what to do after the other party has spoken to the former? Therefore it is said "speak it out", that is, he said, the bhikkhu who received the messenger speaks out and repeats to the former giver, making him understand, this is a summary word. What is shown here is: in order to accomplish the correspondence of the meaning of giving, the one who received the messenger from the initial giver, the bhikkhu who accepted the errand, passes it on to the other giver, and from the other giver receives the messenger's reply, and also passes it on to the initial giver, like this, the bhikkhu as an intermediary, if he receives the...
