Furthermore, the perceptions of mother, sister, and daughter should be distinguished. Saying "from the hand or hair, etc.," the perception of mother, etc., should be distinguished, saying "to touch from the hand or hair, etc." is its definition. In order to be able to remember, she is placed face down on the spread sand, this is in order to save women. In order to be able to remember, she is placed face down on the spread sand, at that time water will seep in, and after the water seeps in, she will be able to remember. She should be guarded like a bed, meaning that just like the bed entrusted to householders, the way to guard is to have her stay on one side, and also work on one's own affairs, and also put one's mind into it, generate speech or attention, stay on one side and guard, similarly, the woman rescued from the water should also be guarded in this way. Entrusting her to a cowherd or shepherd and then going for alms means that if the bhikkhu goes for alms, then first entrust the woman to a cowherd, etc., and then go. If entrusting her temporarily, then the bhikkhu should return immediately. Efforts should be made to bring her to a village, etc., and if she cannot be brought to a village, etc., then if oneself and the woman can be completely protected from the fear of tigers, etc., then stay there even at night. It should be repeatedly observed whether she is alive or not, meaning that in order to avoid meaninglessness, the bhikkhu should repeatedly observe whether the woman is alive or not. Embracing a woman with a pure heart and with compassion is not a fault, meaning that the bhikkhu, with a pure heart, possessing a virtuous mind, treats the woman with compassion, thinking, "If I give up embracing her, she will be in danger of her life," then embracing her is not a fault. Or, if a woman, with a pure heart, with the perception of a son, etc., says, "Please embrace me," then embracing her is not a fault. Its ritual is like this, and not otherwise. Just as it is said in the basis of medicine, the Blessed One allowed embracing Ka-tsang-ka-la.

Eh, this is summarized in this sutra. The chapter called "Discriminating the Remaining Offenses of the Sangha by Physical Contact," the chapter on discriminating the remaining offenses of the Sangha by physical contact, ends here. Now, the chapter on requesting the remaining offenses of the Sangha by physical contact will be discussed. The meaning of "The very thought of softness, warmth, and smoothness is a grave offense" is: if a monk touches a woman with the very thought of softness, the very thought of warmth, the very thought of smoothness, and not with the thought of intercourse and experiencing the taste of sexual pleasure, then it is a grave offense. This shows that merely touching a woman with thoughts of softness, etc., becomes a grave offense. The text here is, if a venerable monk temporarily touches a body with thoughts of softness, thoughts of warmth, and thoughts of smoothness, what offense is committed? The answer is: it is a grave offense. In the request and subduers of this chapter, it is said that there are five situations of touching the body of women without universal desire: that is, special behavior, similar to special behavior, merely reckless touching, wanting to experience the difference of touching, and unwillingly, when many people are crowded, involuntarily touching. Among them, there are three types of special behavior: compassion, seeing relatives and friends, and previously experiencing joy. Similar to special behavior is entering an inappropriate place, such as helping up a fallen person who can stand up on their own. Among these five situations, wanting to experience the difference of touching, for this kind of thought, the way called "The very thought of softness, warmth, and smoothness is a grave offense" has been explained. The rest is said to explain guilt and innocence. The meaning of "There is no offense in liberating from suffering with compassion" is: special behavior, touching with compassion, in order to liberate from the suffering of fire, water, cliffs, etc., touching a woman with compassion, there is no offense in this, because it is a special behavior, and there is no afflicted mind.

Therefore, there is no transgression for that. The so-called "recognizing mothers, daughters, and sisters as such" refers to: Touching due to seeing relatives and friends with special conduct. Recognizing mothers, etc., as mothers, etc., there is no transgression in touching mothers, etc. Thus it is declared: A Bhikshu touching objects such as mothers, recognizing them as mothers, etc., there is no transgression. This is also solely a special conduct, therefore there is no transgression. The so-called "one should rejoice in what has been done before" means: Here too, because it is a special conduct, there is no fault. Rejoicing means showing affection with a mind free from attachment, and for that reason, there is no transgression in touching. The so-called "the occasion of requesting physical touch" means that the explanation arises from the occasion of requesting the Sanghavasesa of physical touch, and it is complete. Now, the occurrence of the Sanghavasesa of physical touch from the time of taming is to be explained, therefore it is said, "Putting food, earth, balls, etc., into the female sexual organ is a grave offense." Putting food, etc., into the female sexual organ is a grave offense. Thus it is declared: If a Bhikshu scatters food such as flour, dust, and balls, etc., into the female sexual organ, it becomes a grave offense. The so-called "pushing a woman with the foot, shoulder, etc., is a misdeed" means: Pushing a woman with the foot, shoulder, and other ribs, etc., is a misdeed. Here, the scripture says that if a Bhikshu moves a woman with the foot, etc., it becomes a misdeed. To that seat also means: Pushing that woman's seat, chair, etc., with the foot, etc., whether there is a woman or not, is a misdeed. Here, the scripture says that if a Bhikshu shakes a seat with or without a woman, it is a misdeed. Thus, those two Sutras only deal with reckless touching, thereby declaring touching. Now, something similar to special conduct is to be explained, the so-called "helping up a woman who has slipped and fallen" means: Helping up a woman who has slipped and fallen due to pottery, etc., and is able to stand on her own
