Moreover, there is no fault in taking, because there is no fault in taking without the thought of "this is mine." When a monk takes another monk's belongings and says, "This is also his belonging," it means that another monk took the belongings that a mouse had stolen, and then another monk said that this was another monk's belonging, not my belonging, and there is no fault in taking it like this, because there is no intention to steal. There is also no fault in taking a deer that has been chased by hunters into a dwelling, meaning that if hunters harm a deer and the deer also enters a dwelling, then there is no fault in catching and taking a deer that has been chased by hunters into a dwelling, because it is caught with the intention of complete protection. What should be done if such a special deer dies? Therefore, it is said, "If it dies, it should be given to them," meaning that if a deer that has been harmed by them also enters a dwelling and dies, then the dead deer should be given to them. They should not take it themselves. Nor should it be given to others. The Parajika of taking what is not given is the occasion of the tamer, the occasion of the tamer is over. The Parajika of taking what is not given is over, it has been said. After speaking of the Parajika of taking with knowledge, now I will speak of the Parajika of lying, therefore, do not perform close service to a sick person that is in accordance with the thought of death. It is said, "The thought for death is the thought of death. That which is in accordance with this is in accordance. The close service to this is any kind of difference in assembly. Do not perform close service, that is, do not inflict this action on the sick person. Mentioning the sick person is an illustration, do not perform close service to a person who is not sick either. It is taught in this way: Through which close service will the sick person generate the thought of death, it has become close service. You are praised as the best person, eating such unsuitable things is not like that, etc., do not perform this close service, because this is an evil deed without the fault of thought.

It is established as such. If there is a fault of thought, thinking, "Alas! May this person die!" then it is established as a gross offense. Do not say to the ignorant, "Enemy of death," saying, "Do not place him as an attendant for the sick," which means: To the ignorant attendant of the sick, the fool, the ignorant one, do not say this means of not letting the sick person die, the enemy of death, saying, "You should let this dying person be inhabited by the enemy. If you want to die yourself, you should not abandon him, nor befriend him." Without saying so, it means not placing that sick person near the attendant of the sick, which is the general meaning. If there is a place, then do not place him, meaning: If there is another place, such as if there is a time to place a virtuous attendant of the sick, then at that time, even if you have made the ignorant one aware, you should not place him, because there is a virtuous one. Do not place the means of death, meaning: The means of death, weapons, etc., the attendant of the sick should not place near the sick person. The attendant of the sick should prevent following death, meaning: The attendant of the sick should prevent following the death of that sick person, such as taking poison, binding oneself, drawing a sword, etc. Do not desire to cause others to die for the sake of wealth, meaning: For the sake of obtaining wealth such as a begging bowl and Dharma robes, do not rejoice in the death of other sentient beings. Do not mentally rejoice in doing what is not to be done, meaning: Do not mentally rejoice in doing what is not to be done, such as abortion, etc. Doing what is not to be done means not mentally rejoicing in doing that which is not to be done. Since the mind precedes the actions of body and speech, by restraining the mind, body and speech are also restrained. Thus, the meaning of the words here is: A renunciate should not mentally rejoice in following others in the present, past, and future in doing what is not to be done, such as abortion, etc. The term "with the mind" is only an example, the rejoicing of body and speech is also What a monk should not do, is the general meaning. In some sutras, the Blessed One speaks with the freedom of a close attendant, close attendant, you
