This was done. This is not related to the basis of the precept of taking what is not given, because there is no fault in crossing over by that method. However, it is forbidden because it is not proper, as it would be criticized in the world. This is the method of stealing and deceit itself, because these mendicants cross over property by this deceptive method, they will be said to be stealing by method, therefore this is forbidden. Also, do not let others take away the property of others, this should be understood from the previous actions. In order to avoid the fault of the method of stealing by other means, it is said, "Do not strive to make crossing over unnoticed unsuccessful." A monk crossing over property without noticing or understanding is crossing over noticed. It is said, "In order not to let it succeed" is in order not to let it succeed, in order not to let others successfully cross over property with their own containers unnoticed. It is said, "Do not not strive" means do not have effort, but strive. Thus it is taught that in order not to let the captain and others take away their own property, and the two situations of putting the property of others into their own containers, crossing over from the noticed checkpoint unsuccessfully, do not not strive, but wisely strive to take responsibility. In order to teach how to strive, it is said, "Do not arrange multiple guarding monks." If asked how to arrange guarding, therefore it is said, "monk," because there is no confusion. If asked about the number, therefore it is said, "multiple," starting from two or more to guard, arrange as many as can succeed. Because the guard cannot go for alms, therefore it is said, "It is necessary to send his food," the guard's food is his food, his food must be sent by the monks. It is said so because it is reasonable, but the Blessed One did not establish the basis of the precept anywhere. In order to teach how the guard should guard, he prevented

Having said "Oh," the monastic guardian, if some merchants put items that need to be valued into the container, and then take them out, they should be prevented. Even if they are prevented, if they are not prevented, what should be done at that time? Therefore, it is said, "The things that have been put in should be stated." The monastic guardian should say that the merchants have put in the items. To whom should it be said? It should be said to those monks who have arranged for the guardian, which should be understood by implication. If there is no guardian, what should be done at that time? Therefore, it is said, "If there is none, make a mark." If there is no guardian, a monk who goes for alms, etc., should make a mark on his own container so that when he goes for alms, he will not take out or put in items that need to be valued. Having said, "The one who brings it should be asked," it is for the purpose of taking back from the place of valuation any other person's bowl, etc., that needs to be valued. The one who takes the item should ask him, "Is there any small item here that needs to be valued?" If a merchant puts gold, etc., into a monk's bag, what should be done at that time? Therefore, it is said, "If others cannot remove it, one should touch it oneself." If one has not touched it oneself, and others cannot remove the gold, etc., then in order to remove it, one should touch it oneself. For this, a slight indulgence is allowed, and only a downfall is incurred. Wanting to speak about the ritual of offering to the Three Jewels, etc., it is said, "Even if it is not offered, if certainty arises, it is offered." In order to leave the place of valuation, the item that has been taken, even if it has not been offered to the Three Jewels, etc., with body and speech, if certainty arises in the mind, thinking, "I have offered this to the Three Jewels, etc.," then it should be known that the item has been offered to the Three Jewels, etc. If it is repeated, the ritual of repeating other items should also be understood here. In order for them to give items, praise of parents...

As for "saying," the items offered for the sake of parents are their items. Giving a share of those items is for the sake of giving. Therefore, praise of parents should be expressed. Father and mother are parents, and praising these two is mentioned in the Sutra Pitaka: "In whatever household parents are worshiped, that household, together with the teacher, is indeed Brahma." Etc., should be expressed in words. This is a concluding statement. As for "also to the Jewels," the word "also" is for praising in order to give their items, and it is for praising accordingly. In order to give the items of the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, the three jewels, and in order to give a share of the items possessing the three jewels, praise of the Jewels should also be expressed. This is a concluding statement. This is to show that even if the Three Jewels and others are praised, if one does not give, one should give immediately. It means that whatever wealth, whatever is borrowed from anywhere, should be given as an object of generosity. In order to give a share without delay, there is no fault in giving a share as an object of generosity for the wealth of any of the Three Jewels, such as food, etc., borrowed from any of the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha. The so-called "law of borrowing" means that because it was borrowed earlier, it is borrowing. That Dharma itself is clinging to its own nature. Therefore, the law of borrowing, with that law of borrowing, should be repaid to whomever it was borrowed from earlier. This is a concluding statement. In order to prevent disputes caused by measuring shares, etc., it is said, "One should not go with a share that needs to be measured." It means that a monk with a share that needs to be measured, that is, with a share that needs to be measured, should not walk on the road. This shows that a monk should not embark on a road with items that need to be measured. If someone lets him embark on the road, that person will commit a misdeed. Here, the road refers to a yojana.
