That which was established between saying "what has happened will not happen again." Even if one side is washed, it is considered washed. It is said that "what has been done, let it be done," and so on. Until the end of the fruit, it is all the same. Excrement and urine, and filth and mud, etc., even if one is made to wash them, there is no blame, as has been previously explained, and this should be understood in the same way here. Here, for the tailor, whether the garment is turned inside out or not, to have him turn it inside out should be understood as a misdeed, according to how it was obtained. These are the three falls arising from weaving. // What is the fall of disrespecting the banner of Dharma? Therefore, it is said that giving is for the purpose of giving the clothes of a renunciate to a householder. It means that giving is for the purpose of giving and bestowing clothes that meet the standard, such as the kasaya and monastic robes, to a householder. Here, the sutra says "if given," and this is explained as "if one causes to wear." Causing to wear necessarily involves giving, so thinking that this is giving is definite in meaning. The size is up to the limit of being able to cover three circumferences, which is a fall. More than one cubit in length is a misdeed. Therefore, one should know that for something smaller than this, there is no fall, and this should be understood as being established in this way. If, for the sake of protection, necklaces are put on children, or the attire is changed, having said these things, for those that meet the size that produces a fall, one should also know that there is no fault there. One should know that this is because it is established in the aspect of renunciation. This is the fall of disrespecting the banner of Dharma. What is the fall of transgressing with a heavy Dharma, being the same as the heavy side, and thereby exchanging the banner of Dharma of the heavy side with one's own side? Therefore, it is said that exchanging the kasaya with a renunciate. Because it is a large Dharma garment. Therefore, this produces a fault. Here, even if it is taken from another, this fault will arise, but not from giving. Therefore, apart from exchanging good and bad, giving the kasaya to a renunciate

The establishment of offenses is limited to this. The so-called "exchange" is merely an example of acceptance. The offense of the banner holder. Now, the following explains the five offenses of stinginess. If asked, for whom will it become the primary of these offenses? Therefore, it is mentioned, "For those who are stingy with praise." It means that for those who are stingy in praising other nuns, it constitutes an offense. If asked, for whom will it constitute the four offenses? Then it should be said, it is mentioned, "For those who are stingy with houses, dwellings, gains, and the Dharma." The word "for" here should be applied to each of the houses, etc., respectively, that is, for those who are stingy with houses, etc. For all that should be guarded, it is only a misdeed, and all that should be guarded is established as an offense of the mind. Here, merely being stingy in mind is what should be guarded, that is, a misdeed. Therefore, here, when praising others, etc., particularly becomes an antidote, due to the body, etc., being dominated by stinginess, becoming an obstacle to praise, etc., therefore, the word of stinginess of praise, etc., is mentioned, but not the defilement of stinginess. Here, it refers to being stingy with practice, praise, etc., but not the defilement of the mind. Just as it is said here, in the story, the fat joyful nun, upon hearing other nuns praising merits, would scold them. The nuns asked the holy mother, why do you scold? The fat joyful nun said, I was born into the Shakya clan, and I should preach the Dharma of the three baskets, and I have the confidence of liberation, why don't you praise me, but praise others? The fat joyful nun asked the other nuns, where do you beg for alms and obtain food? The nuns all said. After that, the fat joyful nun scolded and prevented them. Until she said, do not go to such and such house. The fat joyful nun let them make the summer retreat place for the nuns there. The nuns lived there, and the fat joyful nun lived in another place, and they were by her
