This is also a downfall, because entering into it is very heavy. All things that become branches of non-celibacy are associated with non-celibacy and stand in opposition to things that possess strength. Therefore, the lack of strength itself should be regarded here as worthy of condemnation. How much seclusion is said to be sheltered? Therefore, it is said in the sutra that it is accomplished by walls, thin boards, curtains, dense objects, and darkness. These five accomplish seclusion and shelter. Here, the word "wall" refers to the wall itself. From here on, what should not be touched or relied upon? Therefore, it is said in the sutra, "bhikshu and face." It should be connected with standing together with a bhikshu in a secluded and sheltered place. Third, where? Therefore, it is said in the sutra, "without cover, with the former and face." The phrase "where there is no cover" refers to the side without cover, while "the former and face" refers to the meaning of standing together with laypeople. Fourth, for whom? Therefore, it is said in the sutra, "the latter and face." It refers to dwelling together with a later bhikshu without cover. For these three, merely sitting will also become a downfall. If he is with a companion, there will be no downfall. The phrase "to him" refers to the bhikshu. "If he is with a companion" refers to being with two people, there will be no downfall. The meaning of the sutra here is: if the bhikshu is with a companion. Together with a monastic nun, even if there is only one person, there will be no downfall, and it should be connected with this. To what extent, due to distance, is it not considered to be separated from a companion? As long as such a distance is maintained, if the companion is present, it is being with a monastic, and it should be included among the practitioners who follow later. If it becomes the basis of the fifth precept? Therefore, it is said in the sutra, "whispering and speaking in the ear of a householder." Since it is not specifically stated, whether it is a secluded and sheltered place, or a place without cover, or a place with companions, it should be known that being alone is permissible. Here, the term "speaking" refers to

Any speech that is related, related to meaning, or meaningful, or meaningless, this is a fault. Here, the experience of secret speech is mainly established, if it exceeds the outer end of the arm, or exceeds the edge of the headdress worn by a woman when speaking, that is whispering, and it is the head of the downfall related to closeness. In front is the bone of the heart, and behind is speaking from the direction of the armpit, understand it this way. What is the sixth? That is, from that place, that person hears that matter, called "the end." The matter he said is slightly smaller, it is called "the end." Similarly, grasping this act of speaking close to the ear is whispering from that layman. The seventh is a Bhikshuni, meaning that whispering will become a fault. The eighth precept is "also from that place," through the word "also," it is to follow the act of listening to whispering. Also from that place, this word "also" also includes both Bhikshus and laymen, it should be considered a downfall to listen to whispering in front of these two. Being with a layman, in this case it will change, or there is no difference. For the case of being with a layman, or the case of being with a Bhikshu, one can obtain no downfall. For the statement of no difference, being with a Bhikshu is itself included in the Sangha, therefore there is no fault in this. Therefore, for this necessary situation, there is no downfall. Therefore, the establishment of these precepts is based on the distinction between laymen and Bhikshus, etc. For the case of being with a Bhikshu, for a novice monk, here it is said to be a Bhikshu himself, because the faults are the same, so here it is complete, and here for the renunciates of other religions, it should be understood as the layman himself. What is the ninth? Therefore it is said to receive knowledge from a layman, a Bhikshuni receiving any knowledge from a layman will become a downfall. This is because the nun of coarse joy accepted knowledge from a man out of attachment, in order to make him understand those words. Again
