It is permissible to have that done. Here, the scripture states, "If the Blessed One permits, I will build a dwelling place outside the city," up to "Householder, please permit the construction." Here, the statement "outside the city" is mentioned due to the circumstances. There is no contradiction in being inside the city as well, so both are briefly summarized here. To prevent the well from being divided, one should eliminate the knowledge of universal attachment by building a wall. That is to say, by doing the act of building a wall to separate, one should clearly see the act of looking at the assembly of women. This is not a ritual done for other wells, hence the phrase "one's own well." There, seeing women coming for water is a cause for universal attachment. Since there is no wall to separate, there is no seeing, and therefore it does not become a cause for generating attachment. Therefore, that very thing does not exist. By filling and pouring with cupped hands, one should assist the woman, and one should not pour without interrupting the flow of water. The meaning is that after the woman has drunk a handful of water, one should fill and pour a second handful. One should not pour without interrupting the flow of water while drinking from the cupped hands. One should not personally give to any woman who has strong affection for the monk. Here, some do this because it is difficult to know the minds of others, and it is not a matter of being very busy. One should also interrupt the flow of water intermittently. For others, it is unreasonable because making distinctions when giving water would become blameworthy. Coming during the summer of that time is the power of acquisition. Here, for acquisition, it depends on the word "that," which summarizes what time it exists. Here, it is known from the acquisition of summer that one comes during the summer. The time when summer is very abundant is the time of its acquisition. If it becomes very abundant when coming during the summer, then dwelling there for the summer retreat will be established.

It is considered to be so. When summer is damaged, there is also a share of summer's gains, which is the meaning. Here, the cause of obtaining a share is residence, but it is not a commitment to reside. No matter how one commits to it, it is established in this way. Eating but not gaining is not suitable for work, meaning that merely relying on food for sustenance but not gaining, then no one should appoint him. Here, some of the scriptures are spoken from the perspective of those who enter during the summer. Here, the scriptures are that the monks have not gained, and the Blessed One taught: If one appoints work, one should also give gains. If one cannot be competent, one should merely reside relying on food, and work and gains are also. Thus, with reason, it is summarized in detail, and these two sutras summarize this. In other sutras, it is also said that the monks do not accept the gains of food, and the Blessed One taught: One should give them the gains of food. These are all summarized here. The work is, to appoint gradually from the young, meaning to do gradually from the young. For those who cannot gain, one should give food, meaning that for those who are certain like summer in summer or other times, one should give food to those who cannot gain due to work. Do not gather in the gains of others, meaning that if one does not give and accepts increase at that time, like this, in order to clearly gain in other places, if one enters the inner group and eats, there will be faults, and there is no fault if one does not go there solely for that purpose, but goes to another temple to eat. If one does not go there solely for the purpose of food, there is no fault. It is also the same if one does not take it oneself during a famine, meaning that if one does not take food from the temple oneself during a famine, but eats food in another temple, there is no fault. It is also the same to take the remainder from the Sangha of monks, meaning that if one lives in a temple and there is a gain of food share exceeding the number of monks residing, then in the temple
