Regarding the Sangha, and two individuals to one individual, and as long as the Sangha debates with many individuals, and the Sangha debates with the Sangha, in the context of debating, those things that are shown together should be collected. The debater himself is also the same. Regarding this, the difference in number is not definite, that is to say, regarding the object of debate and the debater, however many objects of debate there are, it is not necessarily the case that only that many debaters should debate. One should respect the one who possesses three qualities: the debater restrains himself with body and speech, knows the Tripitaka, and in the Sangha, after careful consideration, does not show perverted Dharma and Vinaya, and does not show the opposite of that. The opposite of that means that which is not Dharma and Vinaya, and Dharma should also be understood from the classification of knowable things. Vinaya is the ritual of pure morality. One should respect such a debater who restrains himself with body and speech, is skilled in the Tripitaka, and in the Sangha, after careful consideration, does not show Dharma and non-Dharma, does not show non-Dharma as Dharma, does not show Vinaya as non-Vinaya, and does not show non-Vinaya as Vinaya. One should not associate with those who are morally corrupt and show things perversely, that is to say, one should not be in agreement with a debater who is morally corrupt, and who perversely shows Dharma and Vinaya as non-Dharma and non-Vinaya, one should not count them, slander them, or defend them with even a little bit of speech. For debates based on necessity, one should be in agreement with those who definitely know in other ways that "this is entering into debate." For those who do not have definite knowledge, one should not respect them. Some say that for those who show things perversely, appearance and extreme appearance should be examined, that is to say, to say that it is not destroying and extremely destroying is unreasonable. For such things, because of moral corruption and corruption of views, one should not respect them. For those who are not like that, that is, those who hold the scriptures but do not understand them, one should admonish them, that is to say, for the debater who shows things perversely

It is not like that, for those who restrain themselves with body and speech according to the Dharma, one should rely on the Tripitaka master, that is, for those who do not understand, one should advise them. For those who argue with ignorance, one should determine where it is necessary to understand, and there one must answer, and one should not respect those who do not understand. If someone asks, for a debater who possesses three qualities, one should respect, then for what is said, should one not even examine it? Therefore, in order to understand his thoughts, one should debate and examine. Because the behavior of the mind is wavering, even if one has not fallen into sin before, one may fall into it later, therefore, in order to subdue the behavior of the mind, one should debate and examine. Understanding thoughts means understanding the thoughts here. It is to understand the question of "what is this person's thought like". If one asks how one should debate and examine, therefore it is said, do not dwell in the place. This refers to following wrong thoughts, not following right thoughts. If one cannot distinguish through the words of debate in places such as time, then it is certain that one has fallen into wrong debate, therefore, if one does not dwell in the place, one should know that it is wrong thought. If one debates and examines that person, one cannot destroy the words of debate such as time. If one asks, where does one not dwell, one can identify the wrong thought, therefore it is said, the place refers to time, place, behavior and accompaniment. Mentioning time includes debating at night and debating during the day, etc. Mentioning the place includes conducting secretly, conducting openly, conducting on the road, conducting in remote places, conducting in cities, conducting in temples, etc. Mentioning behavior includes debating while walking, standing, sitting, and lying down. Mentioning accompaniment includes debates in situations that lead to defeat, Sanghavasesa, Parajika, confession, and transgression. If one moves to another place, or becomes confused, then the debate will not be established. It means that if one debates and examines the debater, if
