Under what circumstances does untying a bond constitute a Patayantika offense? Therefore, it is stated that untying a bound object is done to make someone listen to (one's) words. Here, the scripture says that if a Bhikshuni becomes infatuated with a boy who likes to trade in spices, and in order to make him listen to her, she buys things from him, (has him) tie up packages, tie them up again and again, and unties them again and again, then all of this will constitute a Nissaggiya Patayantika offense. Here, the scripture "in order to make someone listen to (one's) words" is stated in the Vinaya-vastu: "If a Bhikshuni, in order to make him listen to her, has him tie up packages as many times as she wants, and unties them again and again, then all of this will constitute a Nissaggiya Patayantika offense." If, in order to truly abide in meaning, one allows such a friend to untie a bond, that should not be considered an offense. Therefore, this is briefly summarized here. To bring the taste of sexual intercourse close is to possess. For those who have no gender difference and have the ability to serve men, approaching sexual intercourse, and partners who violate the Vinaya, are obvious. Therefore, this is also indicated by this. For those of the same gender, etc., it is understood by following after "committed a Dukkata offense." The so-called "binding of objects" is to explain the nature of untying. Here, the mention of "package" refers to all internal things, such as one's own palms, etc., and external things, such as wicker baskets, etc., which are regarded as objects. If untying the palms of renunciation, etc., is contradictory, is it? This is not so, in order to clarify that not all situations are like this, therefore the scriptures also say, in order to briefly explain the general explanation, (for example) the type of cow with four breasts. Regarding the tying and untying of packages controlled by others, if they are untied meaninglessly, it would be a very serious sin, therefore this is a state that fully possesses all offenses. Therefore, there is no subtle difference between letting others untie a bond and untying a package. Therefore, due to the cause of birth, here it is only symbolic, only the meaning of the word package. Therefore, this is not included here. The Nissaggiya Patayantika of untying a bond.

Under what circumstances does wearing heavy clothing lead to downfall? Therefore, it is stated in the text that owning valuable clothes worth one hundred srang or more, or twenty kārṣāpaṇas or more, is the issue. The origin of this precept is that a donor named Ral, through his power, obtained a priceless jewel lāva from the market and gave it to sbom dga' mo. She wore it to go begging, and thus this rule was established. Furthermore, if a bhikkhuni wears heavy and very valuable clothes, she commits a downfall offense. This is also the content of the lower sutra. If she allows wearing, this is a description of the downfall. The explanation of "allows wearing" is "owning." Therefore, the text mentions "starting from owning." Here, it is said that there is no downfall for exchanging. It is understandable that a bhikkhuni owns valuable clothes for the purpose of exchange. Owning for the purpose of selling, etc., will lead to downfall in any case. Even if there is nothing to be discarded from clothes worn by others, it will fully constitute a violation. The jewels that arise from there are also heavier and more expensive than this, because they must be obtained through value. Therefore, those who accept jewels through inspection should understand that there is no downfall in accepting this. Women wearing beautiful clothes will breed desire, so these two types of clothes are prohibited. Here, acceptance is owning for the purpose of use. Therefore, this is also a violation regarding clothes. Here, even if there is nothing to be discarded from clothes worn by others, but because there is no single item, it will fully constitute a violation. The so-called "one hundred srang etc." refers to items of the same kind as flowers, snuff, cotton thread, and the obtained lāva. The word "etc." mentioned in "kārṣāpaṇa etc." is so that the following can also be understood in the same way. The so-called "classification according to local terminology" should be understood as following after the pārājika of taking what is not given. The so-called "clothes" refers to fine cotton cloth from Kāśika, silk, and silk clothes, etc.
