Whatever it is, that which seeks to be released from that downfall, that is the removal, not anything else. The bhikṣuṇī says, "Half a month," etc., it does not mean that one should practice contentment for six days from this point, but rather that half a month should be sought from both sanghas. That is the basis of karma, even if the bhikṣuṇī violates a heavy precept, she should still seek half a month of contentment from both sanghas and practice it accordingly. Even if one violates a heavy precept, one should still practice it accordingly, which means that even if the bhikṣuṇī violates a heavy precept, she should still seek half a month of contentment from both sanghas and practice it accordingly, and not just seek it from the remaining sangha. If there is no concealed offense, then it is accomplished, which means that if there is no concealed offense, then contentment is accomplished at that time. Transferring makes it disappear, which means that the transfer makes the concealed offense disappear, the transfer eliminates the concealed offense, and contentment is accomplished. For the actions that generate other downfalls, accomplish, and follow, one should also understand according to the saying, "The offense should be confessed and accomplished." What is the transfer like? Therefore, it is said, "Seek that time from the sangha," which means that the one who removes the downfall, for as long as the time that has been concealed, should seek that much transfer from the sangha. If one is doing these two, and then a sanghāvaśeṣa offense arises, then these two that have been sought and done are ruined, therefore one should give from the beginning, which means that in order to confess the sanghāvaśeṣa offense, while one is doing these two, the transfer and the contentment, if an offense arises that is the same or similar to the previous sanghāvaśeṣa offense, then abiding in the transfer, seeking contentment, practicing the sought contentment, these are all ruined. If an offense arises that is different from the previous sanghāvaśeṣa offense, then it is not ruined. Because the transfer and contentment that are the same as the previous sanghāvaśeṣa offense, these two that have been sought and done have been ruined, therefore one should give from the beginning, and one should also start the transfer and contentment anew for that bhikṣu.

It is the meaning of what is called "should be given." What is called "what has been done is like the ultimate" means that for what the transfer is made, and the transfer is made from the root, and also the arousal from the root and the transfer, and the pleasing, and the arousal from the root and the pleasing, for what the same kind of Sanghavasesa offense arises, like the ultimate, that should be observed. For the one who has been truly taken, one should arise again, everything should be practiced, should be made to practice, not like the former, that is its meaning. Knowing that also is like that, because the mind abides, therefore that is appropriate here, like that which has not been accomplished, is to do again, not by others, that is its meaning. Therefore, if there is no attachment, then at the beginning one should also arise separately, which means that because what has been done is like the ultimate, therefore the transfer etc. is not like the former. Therefore, the one who arises because of non-accomplishment, is at that time not attached to giving. At the time of that non-attachment, arising from the root is not what should be given, therefore one should arise separately. Just as one should give transfer and pleasing to the one who is without offense, so one should also give separately to the one in the middle. The one in the middle should be eliminated, for that, what is called "that" means that because the nature of elimination is spoken. If there is the nature of an intermediate offense, this sinful one, for the sake of eliminating that meaning, transfer etc. Therefore, here one should make elimination by transfer etc., that is its meaning. Therefore, one should also rely on it for that meaning, which means that because the nature of the intermediate offense is sinful, therefore one should only eliminate, therefore one should do from the root, at what time the non-attached one takes, at that time that eliminator, for that meaning, the meaning of what was done before should also arise. Arouse all sentient beings included in that, like a continuous stream, many at once hold. Like the diligent leader, for the sake of many offenses, arouse all sentient beings included in that, on the continuous stream, the one who takes many actions at once, that is the meaning. At the time of that concealment, the remainder should also be included in that, which means if this
