If it is mentioned that parents should be provided with food and clothing, then how should they be provided? Therefore, if there is no gain other than the alms bowl and Dharma robes, then one should beg. If that is not possible, then one should give half of one's share of food. If that is not possible, then "if it is not possible" here refers to not specifying a suitable person to beg from, or to gains that cannot be begged for, belonging to minor foundations, etc. In order to be able to distinguish, marks should be made on the Dharma robes, this is a mark made in order not to confuse them. "Srisu Srisu Srisu, chaka chaka" is done like this, here is a broken part. Here the scripture is: Monks, you should make marks on the Dharma robes of the monk Mdzegs dga' bo, so that you will know that this is Mdzegs dga' bo, this is the Bhagavan. That is what was said. Regarding "make marks on those," "on those" here refers to those Dharma robes. The ink mark means "with that," "with that" here refers to the act of making the mark. The scriptures also say that marks should be made on the Dharma robes. The edges of the trim and the fine edges should be cut off by oneself. Regarding "not sewn, it is not certain to be blessed," it means that sewn Dharma robes need to be blessed, this is similar to the classification of not wanting the sewing ritual. In such cases, if there are no such decorations, and there is no other actual benefit, then the poverty initially promised will also become a failure, because even for clothes that have not been sewn with permission, there will be such a situation, so this is what is done. Here the scripture is: Venerable, can a Dharma robe that has not been sewn be blessed? The attendant said: No. It is permissible in such cases, that is what was said. The Dharma robe mentioned here is because it is determined to be sewn. Then how does it appear? Like this, the upper garment and the lower skirt, these two unsewn garments, are for completing the ritual. In the Vinaya it is said: This sewn garment should be woven. The upper garment is not certain, and the lower skirt is also not certain, that is what was said. In such cases

If the uncut cloth, one should not reside and enter into towns and other houses. Here, "that" refers to that uncut cloth. Here the point is: Is it permissible for a monk to enter a town wearing an uncut Dharma garment? And so on. Here, regarding the view on uncut cloth, according to this scripture and the previous two scriptures, it can be inferred that the Dharma garment mentioned here refers to uncut cloth. Therefore, it is summarized here in this way. It is the same in the dwelling place of heretics, that is, without such conditions, the uncut cloth should not enter and reside in the dwelling place of heretics. Even if the heretics do not reside in that dwelling place, this ritual of approaching is still used as an example because they still have the desire to manifest. If residing, one should not reside and enter, that is, even if there are such conditions, one should not reside in the dwelling place of heretics, that is its meaning. Like this, the uncut Dharma garment is similar to the clothing of wandering ascetics and other heretics, therefore entering and residing there, one would be suspected of imitating their behavior, therefore these behaviors are prohibited here. Here the point is: Can a monk enter the dwelling place of a wandering ascetic wearing uncut cloth? It is not allowed to approach. If the wandering ascetics appear outside, then it is permissible. The three woolen Dharma garments cannot be blessed. It cannot be used as a Dharma garment for wearing, that is, one should not wear woolen items. One can possess bristles, that is, it is permissible to hold, here the word "possess" is used to express holding. Its four forms refer to bristles. Which four? Therefore, it is mentioned that it is made of wool, made of hemp, made of dugula, and made of cotton wool. This may lead to bad situations such as quarrels and so on. Therefore, although others are not forbidden, here four forms are mentioned, This is understandable. Low-grade wool and so on, and other kinds of cotton are also the same. Others are also the same.
