That is, cleaning such as washing and turning over should not be done either, that is the meaning. If the shares to be distributed are many, they should be distributed by groups of ten, etc. Here, the word for shares to be distributed refers to groups. If someone dies in a group before the shares are distributed, then that person's share belongs to the members of that group. This means that if the portion offered to the Sangha has not been distributed and someone dies in that Sangha, then the share that the deceased person would have received belongs to those who belong to that Sangha. If someone dies after the distribution, then their share should be blessed as the belongings of the deceased by the ordained ones who belong to that boundary, who practice pure conduct. For those who have renounced with the intention of Nirvana and possess discipline, it is also appropriate to give clothes worth a hundred thousand, food with a hundred flavors, and five hundred-storied houses. It is also appropriate for the Sangha's property, and the phrase "also appropriate" should be added. If asked what kind of property is suitable for the Sangha, therefore it is said, "Below the non-learner," meaning that the property of the Sangha below the non-learner, even the property owned by the Sangha of Arhats, is also appropriate. That is the meaning. If asked what kind, it is said, "For those who possess discipline." For ordinary beings as well, the word "also" indicates that it is not only suitable for noble ones. For those who are immoral, it is not suitable, which is the remaining part of the statement that the Sangha's property is not suitable. For the lazy, taking and using it becomes a debt, because it is not suitable for the immoral in any way. This should be understood as referring to those who possess discipline. Within the boundary, if it is a personal monastery or one lives on the income of the monastery, then the income of the Sangha is also appropriate. This means that there is a personal monastery and one lives on the income. Within the boundary of that monastery, that income is appropriate, such as someone saying, "Those who live in this monastery will offer this much income," like that kind of income. Therefore, for this, the Sangha's

Land is not to be distributed, If something is obtained. The so-called "fixed dwelling is also," refers to living by the obtained wealth and being suitable for the wealth obtained by the Sangha. The so-called "rotating in order," refers to how the fixed dwelling for obtaining wealth is established, and it should be understood from "how it is all established here." Among the iron utensils, the alms bowl and small alms bowl, teapot and wooden bowl, crooked key and dagger, needle and nail clipper, tongue scraper and broom, staff and pot, cups, etc., are all to be distributed. Among the clay utensils, the alms bowl and small alms bowl, pot and bottle, kundika, basin and round container, common spoon and water vessel, etc., are to be distributed. Beds, from those made of precious jewels to those made of iron, are all to be distributed. How to distribute them? Therefore, it is said to mean "sell them and distribute." Those made of wood, such as beds, are not to be distributed. Paints other than the five are to be distributed, meaning that those other than the five great paints are to be distributed. The five great paints are merely examples, and it should be understood that this is a summary. Is it in all cases? Therefore, it is said "not rotating," meaning that use is to be linked to exchange. To what is the exchange linked? Therefore, it is linked to the Sangha. Monasteries and temples, as well as their land and dwellings, etc., are not to be sold, and the word "also" indicates that they are not to be distributed either. The so-called "their land" refers to the land of monasteries and temples. The so-called "not to be placed" should be understood to mean that they are not to be abandoned either. The so-called "not to be blessed" should be understood to mean that it is related to individuals.
