Here, it mentions "its own." There, whoever does cleaning, etc., then his own place is where the cleaning, etc., is done. The word "etc." includes dusters and wiping with soft, heavy objects. In the Mother Tantra, there is the phrase "will go." On the road, one should travel with Dharma-related conversations or with the silence of the noble ones. In resting places, one should recite the verses of the monastery. "Also at the water-drawing place" means that in that place, one should recite the verses spoken by the sage. For whom? For the owner of that water. "Also for the gods" means that at the water-drawing place, one should also recite other verses spoken by the sage, which means "for the water gods," which can be understood through the meaning. "At the dwelling, recite the third constant chant" means that at the dwelling where one stays overnight, one should recite the third constant chant. A rope should be hung. "By that measure" means by the measure of that well. From one hundred cubits up to one hundred and fifty cubits down. "Some say it should conform to local customs" means that some think it should conform to the verses. "Without that" means without that well water. In places where well water is scarce, one should not wander around randomly. A place without well water, such as where it is difficult to find rivers, etc., is a scarce place without well water. When walking on the road, one should shake the Dharma robes and bathe, or wash hands and feet, take water, wash shoes, wear the three Dharma robes, and enter the monastery with peaceful conduct, as indicated in the Silavimsa. After prostrating according to seniority, one should sit in the position of ordinary people, meaning sitting in the position of ordinary people that is not hidden, which is where all the monks gather. One should reduce noise, be dignified, very restrained, and behave appropriately. Very restrained and behave appropriately. Here, in the Mother Tantras, it speaks of "in the position of ordinary people," etc. "If one does not know" means here in the Silavimsa.

It is said that one should do such things. One should be welcomed by someone who knows the cause, that is, by someone who knows the cause of it, that is, this person comes from somewhere, lives with someone and is a close attendant, so welcome him and place him comfortably in his own place, and subdue him. The word "cause" means to know it, that is, where it is, by that meaning. If you don't know, you shouldn't welcome even a companion, that is, elsewhere, not only should you not welcome a companion. If you seek a way out, don't give it, if you ask for it, return it, so entrust it and forget it after agreeing, or say that this is my friend, etc., and if you become deceived by establishing it as something that seduces you with words, then you should measure it, so it is said. How is it established from something that seduces you with words? Therefore, this is my friend, etc., if you promise and forget with words, these two situations, whether it is the original resident or the sudden comer, should be known to be no different, therefore you should rely on trust, so it is said, how is it? Therefore, it is a method to distinguish the difference that others do not know. If something to be given falls, that is, if something to be given has not reached the hand of the recipient, but falls into running water, etc., if you cannot grasp it, you should understand its meaning. Is it so in all cases? Therefore, it is said that if it is not taken and abandoned, that is, if the person to be given does not take it, but the giver abandons it, then the giver should not measure it. Here, one should ask in order not to be negligent, here, that is, to the one who has not taken it. Speak with the words "Have you got it or not?" Therefore, if you say you have got it or not, you should establish it as having got it. Contempt becomes unpleasant due to impurity, if the mind cannot be subdued by washing, etc., then the value should be repaid, that is, therefore, the seed is mentioned, and this ritual should be added in other cases as well.
