Ro. The so-called "that" refers to that patch of cloth. The so-called "half a cubit and a span, and one fathom," means that its size is half a cubit and a span in length, and one fathom in width. The so-called "sew both sides with thread," means that both sides should be sewn evenly, which is to understand its meaning. In addition, from both perspectives, it means "both sides should be sewn." The so-called "sew with the strength of the thread" does not mean using glue. It should be washed and turned over from time to time. The so-called "its that with whetstone," means that the turning over of that cloth should be treated with a whetstone. Regarding "should carry a face cloth," here the scripture says, is it okay for the elders to ask? Those with life, I am not okay because I am sick. If you used to carry a face cloth, why don't you carry it now? The Blessed One did not allow it. Because it was said during that time, it was then permitted to "carry a face cloth." Here, the face cloth is an example of hand towels, etc., meaning extremely numerous and extremely tolerable. Here, the face refers to the main part. The so-called "body leaking, use a pus pad," means to add "should carry." Whoever's body leaks blood or pus is called body leaking, therefore a pus pad should be carried. Regarding "it is worn inside the Dharma garment," the "it" refers to the pus of the body. The so-called "in summer, apply alkali water or water mixed with brick powder, slowly and gradually prevent it," where "brick powder mixed" refers to with water. The so-called "pus and blood too," means to apply alkali water and water mixed with brick powder, slowly and gradually prevent it. The so-called "wash, dry, and turn it over from time to time," where "it" refers to the pus pad of the body. Regarding "that is polished with a whetstone," where "that" refers to the pus pad, when turning it over, use the powder of the whetstone to prevent leakage. Therefore, it should be understood that there is no such coldness. Here, "that, the essence of the earth is good," refers to the dryness of the leakage, and the lower part that does not turn into flesh color, use the powder of the essence of the earth.

Well. The statement "it is not permissible to leave the Dharma garment lying around" refers to the prohibition of occasionally leaving it lying around, as this has already been done before. This is a prohibition of whatever place has become a storehouse. For that purpose, a clothes rack should be set up, which is for the purpose of placing the Dharma garment. The statement "for that purpose, a hole should be made" means to set it up. The statement "for that purpose" refers to the purpose of setting up a clothes rack for the Dharma garment. When is it? Therefore, it is said, "at the time of building a temple." If at that time that hole should be made first. It should not be done after it has been built. Should it be dug from the wall? No. Therefore, it is said, "if it is finished, a hole should not be made." For the temple, here it should be added, "if the temple has been built." The temple is just an example, the same is true for houses, which refers to making a hole for the clothes rack. The statement "it is made of wood or rope" means that the clothes rack itself, in order to place it without losing its effect, is what is said in the monasteries. Just by existing, the teachings abide in those places. It is not done by them or others, for that "not," it is said because it is considered important. The statement "it is good to wrap the clothes in cloth" refers to doing so in order to avoid wasting the clothes. The statement "that should be done" refers to that cloth. The statement "fold and sew three and a half cubits and three and two cubits" means that the length is three cubits. The width is three and a half cubits, folding that size, which refers to the width, not the length, which is to be understood. The statement "open in the middle" refers to that cloth. The statement "make a hole-edged edge there," the statement "there" refers to the edge. If asked, "what should the hole on the edge be made of," therefore it is said, "from rope." The statement "other edges too" refers to with rope. The statement "things to be used should be placed on top" refers to the clothes. If one is going to leave tomorrow, one should ask the lama, and if permission is granted, one should go. The statement "having done things like tidying up in one's own place" refers to the one who lives in the dwelling.
