Even if the deceased's belongings have been blessed, once completed, those who come later have no right to them. If it happens that they have not been blessed, then one has the right to them. It is said that in the south, these should be blessed at night. If someone performs these two blessings beforehand, then others will not have the right to share in them either, because this is not known, so it should be understood as being beyond the scope of the ritual. Some of these are given to the elder and newer monks of the Sangha, and this is called "that." "From that" refers to from the deceased's belongings. "Some" refers to some objects. Giving from the elder and newer monks of the Sangha is called "the first and the last." Here, the scripture says that one item is sold, and then a little is given to the elder and newer monks of the Sangha. In terms of meaning, here it is just a little, and the buying and selling is not certain either, so it is briefly explained here. It is said that whatever belongs to the boundary where the thing to be blessed is located, those are the ones who do the blessing, meaning that those who do the blessing belong to the boundary where the thing to be blessed is located. It is said that "this is not the cause of the place of death itself," meaning that blessing the deceased's belongings, the place of death itself is not the cause. The meaning here is that because of the deceased, those residing within that boundary cannot bless the deceased's belongings. It is said that "those residing between the boundaries, how much is touched by the body or others, belongs to that boundary," meaning that the deceased's belongings residing between the boundaries, touched by the deceased's body, or the thing to be blessed touched by others, the boundary that it touches and covers, the monks belonging to that boundary will do the blessing, because here it is distinguished according to the substance to be blessed, not according to the deceased's

The saying "not because of the corpse" is from these topics. Wherever there is something like wealth, the category includes things to be used, that is, things that turn into wealth, whether householders or renunciants, are like wealth. What belongs to its category becomes its body, meaning it has the nature of holding this thing. If this is admitted, then wherever this thing turns into wealth, its category must include things to be used. Therefore, one should bless things that are like wealth and exist elsewhere, meaning that even if they exist elsewhere, one should bless the person who is like wealth with the belongings of the deceased, near him. What is entrusted is not abandoned, that is the thing itself, meaning that what is not abandoned is what is entrusted by the one who entrusts, that is the thing itself, that is, it includes the thing itself that is entrusted. The one who abandons is the one who entrusts, meaning that the one who entrusts is the one who entrusts, and the thing is the meaning of the thing itself. Even if he abandons it, "he" refers to the one who entrusts. To whom, that is, to whom is entrusted, will be abandoned. Here, abandoning the one who entrusts does not mean abandoning the one who is said to entrust. If this person takes it first, then what will this person do to me, I have abandoned this thing, even so, it still means that it is related to the one who entrusts. Here the scripture is: After a monk entrusts clothes to a monk, the entrusted one abandons them, and the entrusting one also abandons them, if the entrusted one blesses, then it is not blessed. If the entrusting one blesses, then it is blessed, that is, it is properly blessed. One should not think that this is unreasonable, because for such a transformed state, it is like an unnecessary impure thing, the thought that I have abandoned this thing. Its necessity is that each becomes the master of each, and relies on it.

Regarding "blessing with the belongings of the deceased," and so on. Regarding "Outwardly, those who are conscious within the boundary, it is said that blessing solely through them will not be stable," the meaning of "outwardly, also" is blessing things that have not been done internally, etc. The word "also" does not appear in the phrase "will not be stable." Regarding "those who are conscious within," it should be combined with the word "boundary," meaning "those who are conscious within the boundary." Regarding "blessing solely through," it means blessing solely through those people. For those who are conscious within the boundary, if blessing is also done outwardly, then the word "solely through" is unstable if blessing is done by those who disagree. By generally pointing out "do not make it unstable," it should be understood that this is a wrong action. Regarding being indecisive, being indecisive should be understood as mentioning it within the boundary. If someone outwardly, for those who are conscious within the boundary, or someone who is indecisive, blesses with a thieving mind, then that thieving mind will commit a grave offense. Therefore, it should be known that a thieving mind is a grave offense. If a certain monk within the boundary, because of a thieving mind, previously robs, thereby committing a grave offense, then he is separated from the object. Do not bless before expelling, serving, listening to the Dharma, and proclaiming merits. The alms bowl and Dharma robes are in another person's house, whoever the householder gives them to, that person owns them. Regarding "if he owns it, even if that person is poor," the text here is: from the basis of all discussions, this is the ultimate. Regarding "whoever the householder gives to," because the details are not fully explained, it should be understood as one person or multiple people. If this person gives it to a householder, a non-Buddhist renunciate, or a renunciate of another sect, or another different boundary, do they also own it? Therefore, it is said, "if he owns it." If the owner has what is obtained, then if it is given to that owner, do they also own it merely because of the acquisition? Therefore, it is said, "even if he is poor," the text here
