Also, "should" refers to mentioning "the five" etc. For those (people), it is not only for small gains that one should act, but also for great gains. Even if one has already started the matter of gain, it is not that one cannot control it. It means that for summer retreats etc., any matter that is used to obtain gains, if one has already started it, even if one has left the boundary of the monastery, that gain is not inappropriate. Therefore, the practitioner should entrust another to receive it. It means that because that gain is appropriate, the practitioner should entrust another to receive his share. If someone with a commitment does not accept it, then it should be compensated. It means that if one promises to "accept it," but if one does not accept the gain, then at that time one should compensate it oneself. For small gains, such as five panas etc. It means that for small gains, if someone with a clear commitment does not accept it, if it is five mashakas or more, then it should be compensated. If one has not entrusted it, one should not accept it. For the teacher or preceptor, one should accept it. It means that even if one has not entrusted it, one should accept the gain. For the sake of a place of trust, it should also be so. It means that for anything that becomes a place of trust, even if one has not entrusted it, one should accept it, especially for those who have become teachers and preceptors. One should not accept it for purposes that do not conform to one's own sect. It means that one should also not accept it for the purpose of going to the Vaibhashika school. That should also be the case for lodging. It means that for situations where lodging should be accepted, one should also understand it as "without entrusting" etc. Here, the scripture is, in the scripture requesting lodging, for "the purpose of a place of trust" etc., no matter who it is entrusted to, it becomes the purpose of trust. Therefore, for the purpose of clearly inclining, one should accept lodging. It is said that for the case where the one who promised has not promised, it is not so, and only these meanings are said there. It also applies to gains, this application is not limited to gains, it also applies to relationships, so it is said here "also." It should also be so for food, and one should also understand it as "if one has not entrusted it, one should not accept it" etc.

In terms of conduct. Here, the treatise states that in the Vinaya, this term is used as follows: "Placement and taking without being given are understood as having no other verbal context, because one should not demand if not entrusted, only that much is stated there as the meaning." For all those things not entrusted, saying "it is not" and so on, is to make a distinction here, so all of these should be applied here. To demand for the benefit of others, one should make the other understand, that is, one can also demand other things, not just food. Here, the treatise states that in the Vinaya, this term is to avoid disputes arising merely from regret, so the discussion begins with demanding food. In terms of terminology, what is demanded is not food, but to make others understand through demanding, only that much is said, and for other things that need to be demanded, the ritual should be distinguished in this way, so that it does not depend on individual cases. Not being allowed to enter inside, that is, obtaining is because of permission, those who are allowed enter inside, they should not demand a share. Here, the treatise states that therefore a bhikkhu should not intervene in the gains of others, it is said. Here are other examples, such as the venerable Nanda, not being invited, ate food and received a large cloth. Being allowed alone can obtain very many things, and it will not become a reason for not being allowed, that is, for those people, here the teaching is that the two old practitioners thought, how can we two get a hundred large cloths? Others should be allowed to intervene, to eliminate this thought, so it is said, if the captain, for the benefit of the Sangha, offered many goods to the monastery, and there was only one bhikkhu living in the monastery, he did not accept it because of regret, the Blessed One said that this was for the one who lived there, until permission was granted, these are other examples. The distinction is that those who go to the side that is in accordance with the non-Dharma, are not allowed to obtain the property of the Sangha, that is, for those different people who are in accordance with the non-Dharma, those who have abandoned the Dharma side and left, they are not allowed to obtain the property of the Sangha, that is the meaning. The gains of that time are very long.
