Stealing land, in its meaning, is stealing. Obtaining this is like the labor of a slave, but here, merely doing things together is different from other thefts, it is not having a share. Certainly, the giver and the receiver's mind correctly abides, this is called obtaining, know that this is stealing, but not when walking. Land and houses are completely surrounded, called reaching the boundary, that is, completely surrounded by fences and walls, etc., stealing land, etc., if the fences, etc., reach the boundary, then it is stealing. Here, certainly, at that time, for the mind that is close to grasping, it is correctly shown, that is knowing. Gambling, if one wins in the ranks of the wise. If one is at a disadvantage, the other party's effort will be abandoned. That is effort, if one gambles in the ranks of the wise, winning by gambling theft, that is stealing. If one is at a disadvantage, the other party's effort-maker will abandon, that is stealing. For this victory, having the thing of effort completely fulfilled, is a grave offense. Otherwise, it means a minor offense. Certainly, here, for each manifestation, the mind of others' accomplishment correctly abides. Even if there is manifestation to others in the ranks of the wise, but because it is the owner, the king's reliance is uncertain, it is not so. The mind of accomplishment correctly abides, this is called knowing. If one exceeds the place of gambling, then what is said there is gambling theft, relying on the act of gambling itself, including arising, falling, and non-falling words, all of these should be collected from the distinctions. For those without a stealing mind, one should not suspect that a sin belonging to gambling will occur, this is to completely abandon the monks who have not yet obtained, for the merchants, in order to transcend what belongs to gambling, whatever the donation is, there, the merchants are not doing stealing itself here, because the mind of the gamblers is seized, in order to transcend those merchants. Because for the monks it will not become stealing itself, therefore the words of no falling are reasonable.

A monk who has not completely abandoned "I", if he gives a vessel to another monk in order to pass, this monk is also the same. This is not passing now, if so, how could theft occur? This is a non-fallen reasoning, because there is certainly no thought of stealing here. Those who have obtained abandonment pass through association with merchants, because among those who steal for others, this one who has obtained his own abandonment is established. Therefore, for those who are said to be without falling, the reason is that there is no stealing mind, but exists in a different way. This is the summary of this. We should understand here that because we possess a part of others' abandonment, do not let the stealing mind have a chance. Whoever takes something should give from his own vessel. Whoever takes something, the thing belongs to whoever took it. Whoever takes something, he should give the thing to the Sangha. If there are two who pass here, one is without fault, and the other is the one who took the thing but did not give it to the Sangha, then both of these are without fault, this should be understood. If there is no permission, even repeating is not stealing. Permission is obtaining abandonment. Therefore, for the property of others, whoever does the passing, this is not stealing because it is a part of it. If it is not given to the Sangha, that is abandoning giving, which is the part that one has obtained for oneself, not that of others. Therefore, this fault will occur, whether it is the passer who associates with merchants. Furthermore, if a monk passes the Sangha's property found on the ground, if a monk passes the Sangha's property found on the ground, it will become a serious violation, this is the summary. How things lead to falling, being called a serious violation, this statement also arises from the basis, not just a mere fault. Why is that? Because of Ananda's question, here it is said to be a gross falling. Venerable sirs, for the time being, with the merchants
