Thus, the scriptures say that after this, one should request the Bhikshus. If someone asks, what should be done about this? The answer is: the petitioner should ask, "Is it completely pure now?" and then request it in words. This is because one should ask the preceptor (Khenpo) whether it is pure, and if it is pure, then one should rely on ordination and request it. Venerable ones, please listen. This person named "So-and-so," relying on ordination, should be requested with mantras such as "Holding the white robe." The reason why the words of others are the actions of others is because this enters into the actions of others, so it is not one's own meaning. Just as here the Khenpo enters like treating a son, this is not one's own meaning, so it is here as well. Then, how should one know that one should request the Sangha? The answer is: whether it is in a complete gathering or in one's own dwelling, it is acceptable. Separately and completely counting, the explanation of this sentence is "in one's own dwelling." Whose complete counting is the difference of dwellings. In order to show the rituals of those who request before whom, all if completely pure. One should say, "Should be said." The meaning of "if" is "if." The time of requesting is after ordination. One should request the Khenpo, meaning that the Khenpo should, with the mantra of acceptance, shave the hair and beard of this person, except for the topknot. The Khenpo himself especially resides there, and in order to truly show the actions of the shaver, one should shave, which is the word of the master's meaning. The Khenpo himself does it here, one should not understand it this way, and one should not understand that doing it through others is letting others do it. Entering for the sake of meaning and meaning itself. Therefore, entering for the sake of accomplishing meaning is not obvious. Regarding this, one should not think that without obeying the Khenpo's teachings, one shaves the hair and beard, and the Khenpo should enter into this person's actions again. The so-called "except for the topknot" means other than the topknot. Regarding shaving the beard, how should one observe this?

The thought of being unpleasant is not like that. Therefore, is this certain? This is established for the purpose of asking with the question "Is it not?" If asked, "Have you cut your hair knot?" and given, it means "Yes." If asked, "Shall I cut your hair knot?" for the purpose of ordaining, if it is given, then from the time of giving, the hair knot should be cut, which follows. Thus, having cut the hair and beard, one should bathe, which is water that is in accordance with the season. After the time of bathing, the preceptor should give clothes and red cloth. He should also touch the feet of the preceptor and receive them. Then the preceptor should put on his own clothes for him. When putting on clothes, in order to completely abandon the faults of zama, maning, asexual, and hermaphrodite, one should check whether the sexual organ is felt. It is not naked, but without feeling. He should not know, thinking, "How did this person not see my sexual organ?" Having promised, this is the work of the preceptor. If other faithful monks do it, it is also effective. Having done it, this means that it should be known that the preceptor himself did it. Starting to take refuge, one should make the ordination complete, which means, "I am named so-and-so, until the Buddha Bhagavan Shakyamuni, until the excellence of the Sangha, until receiving the sign of ordination, with this mantra, the preceptor begins to take refuge, one should make the ordination complete." There is no initial refuge, which is the meaning of negation. If one says that this is not discipline, then some may say, "Then, what is the meaning of starting to take refuge for this?" That is not correct, because the so-called ordination is definitely entering into complete abandonment, and not liking all contaminated things, which is definitely entering. Therefore, turning away from samsara is definitely entering into complete abandonment without remainder. Turning away from samsara without relying on nirvana is not established, therefore, like discipline, here too, nirvana is needed.
